Obituary:  Patriot Ledger (Quincy, MA), Thursday, 14 Jan 1993:  Ernest J. Peters.  Plymouth - Ernest J. Peters, 93, of Plymouth, a native of Prince Edward Island, Canada, and a former painter for the Army Corps of Engineers, died Tuesday at Jordan Hospital after a long illness.  Mr. Peters also worked as a machinist for the Plymouth Cordage Co. and as a chauffeur for the Hornblower Estate in Plymouth.  Husband of the late Dorothy F. (Boutin) Peters, he is survived by two stepsons, Eldon Burgess of Hawthorne, Calif., and Richard Burgess of West Hills, Calif.; several brothers and sisters in Nova Scotia, Canada; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Church.  Burial will be in Chiltonville Cemetery.  There are no visiting hours.  Funeral arrangements were made by the Cartmell Funeral Home.

Obituary:  Patriot Ledger (Quincy, MA), Monday, 9 November 1992:  Peters - Of Plymouth, Dorothy 'Fran' (Boutin), age 88, wife of Ernest J. Peters of Plymouth.  Mother of Eldon and Richard Burgess of North Hawthorne and West Hills, CA.  Sister of Alice Boutin of Plymouth and Edith Martin of Ontario, Canada.  She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  The Funeral will take place Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. from the Cartmell Funeral Home, Plymouth, followed by a Mass at St. Peters Church at 10:00 a.m.  Calling hours are omitted.  Interment to follow at the Chiltonville Cemetery in Plymouth.
