Joseph Fidelis Peters: Edmonton Journal (Edmonton, Alberta), Wednesday, 19 April 1978: On April 16, 1978, Mr. Dalus Joseph Peters of Darwell, Alberta passed away at the age of 79 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Jane; three sons, Donald K., Dalus A., and Glenn S. all of Edmonton; two daughters, Mrs. D. G. (Dawn-Marie) Flint of Edmonton; Mrs. R. E. (Marion E.) Buday of Seba Beach; ten grandchildren; two brothers, William of Cambridge, Mass. and Ernest of Plymouth, Mass.; two sisters, Ethel of Rollo Bay, P.E.I. and Minnie of London, Ontario. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Darwell community hall. Rev. Val Roos will officiate and interment will take place in the Darwell Cemetery. Should friends desire, donations may be made to the Alberta Heart Foundation or to the Interlake Golden Age Club. Foster and McGarvey Limited, Funeral Directors.

Samuel Earnest Peters: Patriot Ledger (Quincy, MA), Thursday, 14 Jan 1993: Ernest J. Peters. Plymouth - Ernest J. Peters, 93, of Plymouth, a native of Prince Edward Island, Canada, and a former painter for the Army Corps of Engineers, died Tuesday at Jordan Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Peters also worked as a machinist for the Plymouth Cordage Co. and as a chauffeur for the Hornblower Estate in Plymouth. Husband of the late Dorothy F. (Boutin) Peters, he is survived by two stepsons, Eldon Burgess of Hawthorne, Calif., and Richard Burgess of West Hills, Calif.; several brothers and sisters in Nova Scotia, Canada; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Church. Burial will be in Chiltonville Cemetery. There are no visiting hours. Funeral arrangements were made by the Cartmell Funeral Home.
