Lillian Pitre:  Houma Courier (LA), Thursday, 28 February 1974:  Mrs. Lillian Pitre Savoy, a native of Montegut, died Wednesday, Feb 27 at 10:15 am at 64.  She was the wife of the late Mr. Harold Savoy and the mother of Ronald Peter Savoy of New Orleans, Mrs. Lloyd Ledet of Houma, Mrs. Peter Gibbia of Slidell, and the late Armond Joseph Savoie and the late Rowena Savoie.  She was the sister of Harris and Clarence Pitre, both of Montegut, Mrs. Evangeline Pitre of Montegut and Mrs. Alvin LeBlanc of Little Caillou, as well as the late Lawrence and Shelly Pitre.  She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.  Services are to begin at 9 am Friday, Mar. 1 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial rites to follow at the Dugas Cemetery.  Chauvin Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Vivian Pitre:  Houma Courier (LA), 27 June 2003:  Vivian Pitre LeBlanc, 84, a native of Montegut and resident of Chauvin, died at 9:31 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2003.  Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chauvin.  Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in St. Elie Cemetery.  She is survived by two sons, LeRoy LeBlanc and wife, Nola, and Donald LeBlanc and wife, Judy, all of Chauvin; two daughters, Harriet Dupre and husband, Sherwin, of Chauvin and Loretta Ann Henry and husband, Herman, of Bourg; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin A. LeBlanc; her parents, Peter Pitre and Julianne LeBeouf Pitre; four brothers,
Lawrence, Clarence, Harris and Peter Pitre; and two sisters, Lillian Savoy and Angelina Pitre.  She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
