Obituary:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), Thursday, 26 April 2007:  Russell J. Pitre, 86, a resident of Thibodaux, died Tuesday, April 24, 2007.  Visitation will be from noon to funeral time Saturday at Thibodaux Funeral Home Chapel.  Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel.  He is survived by two daughters, Sandra Mire and husband, Jacques, and Toni Ann Roger and husband, Joe; one stepson, Joe Pittman; four brothers, Joseph, Kermit, Milfred and Jessie Pitre; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Clark Pitre; his second wife, Margaret Hebert Pitre; his third wife, Mary Lucille Kelly; his parents, Lillian Zeringue Pitre and Wilfred Pitre; three brothers, Shelby, Andre Waldon and Royce Pitre; and one sister, Loubelle Bourgeois.  Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pitre.  Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Hillcrest Cemetery in Petal for Mary Lucille Pitre, 87, who died Nov. 14, 1999, at Hattiesburg Convalescent Center.  Mrs. Pitre was a clerk.  Survivors include her husband, Russell Pitre of Moselle; one son, Joe K. Pittman of Moselle; and one brother, Paul Kelly of Ellisville.  Jones Funeral Home of Moselle is in charge of arrangements.
