Obituary: Tampa Bay Times (St. Petersburg, FL), Thursday, 4 November 1993: Peters, Richard Joseph, 74, of Lutz and formerly of St. Petersburg, died Monday (Nov. 1, 1993) in Tampa. Born in Detroit, he came here in 1952 and moved to Lutz in 1991. He was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. He was a Catholic and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6827, St. Petersburg. Survivors include a son, Lawrence, Lutz; a daughter, Pamela Ann Meyer, Dunedin; and three grandchildren. F.T. Blount Co., Lutz-Land O'Lakes Chapel.

She came here in 1952 from her native Detroit. She retired as a clerk with the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband, Richard J.; a son, Lawrence, Tampa; and a daughter, Pamela Meyer, Dunedin. National Cremation Society, Tampa.
