Obituary:  Ogdensburg Advance (NY), Sunday, 23 August 1998:  Norfolk - Funeral services for Robert I. LaShomb, 78, of 1768 County Route 38, Norfolk, will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Visitation with the Rev. Andrew J. Amyot, officiating.  Burial will be in Visitation Cemetery.  Arrangements are with the Phillips Funeral Home.  Mr. LaShomb died Thursday evening (August 20, 1998) at the Massena Memorial Hospital.  He is survived by his wife, Eugenia; a son, Dale R. LaShomb of Massena; a daughter, Sandra Neverette of Massena; a step-son, Eugene Brothers of Bloomington, Indiana; a stepdaughter, Karen Durham of Plattsburgh; five grandchildren; two great-grand-children; four step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; five brothers: Harold, Raymond, Leo, and Donald, all of Massena, and Carl of Buffalo; five sisters: Mrs. Velma Deruchia, Mary Jane LaShomb, and Kay Green, all of Massena, Virginia Bearcombe of Dallas, Texas, and Marie Krusher of Palm Coast, Florida.  He was predeceased by one brother, Larry LaShomb.  Mr. LaShomb was born Massena on May 11, 1920, the son of Guy and Ethel (LaComb) LaShomb.  He graduated from Massena High School in 1938.  He married Eugenia Bordeaux Brothers on March 27, 1978 at St. Augustine's Church in North Bangor.  Mr. LaShomb at one time worked at his father's restaurant, Guy's Diner, and later worked in The Saranac Hotel.  Mr. LaShomb retired as a cook from the cafeteria at Reynolds Metals after 10 years.  He enjoyed refinishing antique furniture and playing the violin.

Obituary:  Massena Observer (NY), Tuesday, 4 May 1976:  Mrs. Arlene Mary LaShomb, 53, of Route 2, Norfolk, died at 11 a.m., Sunday, May 2,1976, at Massena Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient since April 29.  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, at the Church of the Visitation, Norfolk, with the Rev. George A. Lemieux, pastor, officiating.  Burial was in the parish cemetery.  Arrangements were by Phillips Memorial Home.  There were no calling hours.  Mrs. LaShomb was born Aug. 5, 1922 in Norfolk, the daughter of Victor and Florence Euto White.  Her father died in 1962.  She was married to Robert I. LaShomb, Aug. 17,1940 in Sacred Heart Church, with the Rev. Gerald F. Kellogg officiating.  She was a housekeeper parttime bookkeeper at Reynolds Cafeteria for Greyhound Foods.  Surviving are her husband; one son, Dale R., Norfolk; one daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Sandra) Neverette Jr., Norfolk; her mother, Mrs. Victor White, St.Regis Nursing Home; five grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Harold (Veronica) LaShomb, Norfolk.  One brother, Ronald White, predeceased her.  Mrs. LaShomb was a member of the Church of the Visitation.

Obituary:  Phillips Memorial Home (Massena, NY):  Norfolk, NY - Eugenia Mae LaShomb of Norfolk, NY died Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at the Highland Nursing Home at the age of 98.  Born Eugenia Mae Bordeaux in Reynoldston, NY on January 18, 2023, Gina spent most of her life in the Massena & Norfolk area.  Before retiring as Kitchen Supervisor, Mrs. LaShomb worked a number of years in the cafeteria at Massena High School, a job she enjoyed & often spoke fondly of.  In 1999 she moved to Plattsburgh, NY to be closer to her daughter, Karen J Durham who survives her.  She enjoyed reading, playing cards, gardening & visiting with her grandchildren.  Gina was fortunate to have married two wonderful men in her lifetime.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roswell T Brothers who died October 12, 1971 & by Robert I. LaShomb who died Aug. 20, 1998.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, Eugene & Daisy Bordeaux, her sisters Frances Langlois, Doris LeBoeuf, Lois Patraw, her step-daughter, Sandra Neverette & her beloved grandson, Steven T. Brothers.  In addition to her daughter Karen, she is survived by her son, Eugene T. Brothers, his wife Anne, her step-son, Dale LaShomb & his wife Diane LaShomb who was like a daughter to her, three grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great step-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great-great-step-grandchildren, as well as several nieces & nephews & their families.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Lashomb:  Watertown Daily Times (Watertown, NY), Saturday, 29 August 2009:  Massena - Funeral services for 67-year-old Sandra LaShomb Neverette, of 90 Stoughton Avenue, Massena, will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk with Rev. Andrew Amyot, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in Visitation Cemetery, Norfolk.  There will be no public calling hours.  Mrs. Neverette died Thursday evening at Massena Memorial Hospital.  Surviving are two sons, Terry of Massena, Chris and his wife, Jill of Syracuse; and one daughter, Marci Ackerman and her companion John Schneider of Massena; four grandchildren, Shauna DuBray, D'Ann Page, and Christopher and Erin Neverette; one great-granddaughter, Jordan Sandra DuBray and one brother, Dale and his wife Diane LaShomb of Norfolk; several nieces and nephews; and her step-mother, Eugenia LaShomb of Plattsburgh.  She was born in Massena on December 6, 1941, daughter of Robert and Arlene White LaShomb.  She was employed by Massena Central School.  She was a member of the Massena Senior Citizens.  Donations may be made to the Massena Humane Society.
