Obituary:  Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), Saturday, 19 February 1944:  Funeral Yesterday - The funeral of Mr. Pacifique Peters was held yesterday from his late residence 112 Green St. to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer where Requiem High Mass was celebrated by Rev. R. Baines, C.S.S.R.  The pallbearers were: Messrs. Emmett Hagan, Thomas Malone, Stillman Frizzell, James McKenna, Joseph Gallant and Frank Smith.  Service at the grave was conducted by Rev. J. Edward, C.S.S.R.  Interment was in the Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Obituary:  Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), Saturday, 25 June 1938:  Peters - In the Charlottetown Hospital on June 24, 1938, Mrs. Pacific Peters aged 65 years.  Funeral from the residence of her son-in-law, Elmer McKenna, 112 Green Street, Monday morning at 8:45 to St. Dunstan's Basilica thence to the Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Catherine Anne Peters:  Wednesday, March 04, 2009:  Charlottetown, PEI:   Gallant-Peters, Catherine Ann Gallant.  The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, February 25, 2009, of Mrs. Catherine A. "Kate" Gallant (nee Peters) of Oyster Bed Bridge, in her 103rd year.  Beloved wife of the late Frank Gallant.  Loving mother of Vince Gallant of Oyster Bed Bridge, Bernice Sheehan of Oyster Bed Bridge, Pius (Joan) Gallant of Oyster Bed Bridge, Gladys (Edwin) Gallant of Cymbria, Eileen (Alcide) Arsenault of Cape Egmont, Agnes (Gerry) Elford of St. Thomas, ON, and daughter-in-law, Beverley Lannan of North Rustico.  She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.  Besides her husband, Frank, she was predeceased by son, Francis Gallant; son-in-law, Buddy Sheehan; and great-grandchild, Darlene Jones.  Resting at the St. Monica Chapel of St. Augustine Church, South Rustico, for visitation on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral mass from St. Augustine Church on Friday at 10:30 a.m.  Interment at a later date in the family plot in the parish cemetery.  If so desired, memorial contributions in Kate's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of P.E.I. or St. Augustine's Parish Cemetery Fund.
