Obituary: Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), 21 December 1967:  Of Waggaman, La., on Wednesday, December 20, 1967, at 6:40 o'clock a.m., Paul Arthur Pitre, beloved husband of Hazel Datusch, father of Mrs. Julius Barnes, stepfather of Merlin Peres, brother of Irvy and Teresa Pitre; also survived by 4 grandchildren, age 65 years.  Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Avondale Shipyards and Monsana Chemical Co., are invited to attend the funeral.  Services from Westside Funeral Homes Co., 5101 West Bank Espressway, Marrero, La., on Thursday, December 21, 1967, at 10 o'clock a.m.  Followed by Requiem Mass at Holy Angels church, Waggaman, La.  Interment in Holy Savior Mausoleum, Luling, La.

Obituary:  Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), Friday, 4 April 1997:  Cecile Marie Bourgeois Pitre Dorsey Hervieux LeCocq, at Ochsner Foundation Hospital, on Wednesday, April 2, 1997 at 1:21 PM.  Wife of the late Paul Pitre by first marriage, Clay Dorsey by second marriage, Albert Hervieux by third marriage and Lawrence LeCocq by fourth marriage.  Mother of Margaret Dorsey Wegmann, Terry A. Dorsey and the late Dovey Pitre Borne and Clay J. Dorsey.  Sister of Hilda Bergeron, Viola Sampey and Roy Bourgeois.  Preceded in death by 4 sisters and 3 brothers.  Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.  Age 93.  A native of Raceland, LA and a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from the Metairie Funeral Home of Lamana Panno Fallo, on Saturday, April 5, 1997 at 12:00 noon.  Followed by interment in Lake Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until Funeral Time.
