Obituary:  Plattsburgh Daily Press (NY), 8 December 1898:  Whippleville, 6 December - Last Sunday at midnight, our school teacher, Miss Bridget Daly was called from here to go to Moira to see her sister, Mrs. Peter Peets, who was seriously ill.  Just two weeks ago today, she was married to Peter Peets of Moira.  She was in poor health at that time and has continued to get worse until this morning at 5 o'clock death released her of her sufferings.  The relatives of the deceased and the bereaved husband have the sympathy of all who knew her in this vicinity.  She taught our school here two or three years ago, and gained the respect and esteem of all who made her acquaintance.
