Misc:  Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), Friday, 29 April 1949:  The many friends of Gus Peters of Duvar regret to hear of his being laid up and hope for him a speedy recovery.

- Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), Saturday, 30 September 1950:  Mr. and Mrs. Tenis Peters of Howlan on Sunday evening were visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Peters at Duvar.  Also present were Mrs. Peters' brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Peters of U.S.A. -- Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Peters who have been visiting with Mr. Peters' sister, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Peters of Duvar left on Thursday on return to their home in U.S.A.  They were accompanied back by Mr. Gus Peters who will visit in U.S.A. a while.

- Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), Friday, 24 July 1955:  Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Peters and son, who are visiting in Egmont Bay from the U.S.A., were calling at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Tenis Peters and Mr. and Mrs. Pius Doiron on Friday, July 15.  Mr. Peters was formerly from Duvar, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Peters, brother of Mrs. Gus Peters.

- Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), Monday, 15 August 1955:  Howlan - Mrs. Frank Peters of Hamilton, Ontario, arrived in Duvar at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Peters on Saturday night, July 30.  Mrs. Peters will also visit her in-laws and friends in Howlan before returning to Ontario. - - Gus Peters of Duvar and his daughters Mrs. Frank Peters of Hamilton, Ont. and Mrs. Nelson Gallant of Brocton were in Howlan on Monday night, August 1.

- Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), Friday, 27 April 1956:  Howlan - Mr. and Mrs. Gus Peters of Duvar left by train on April11, for Hamilton, Ontario where they plan to spend an indefinite period of time with members of their family who have settled there.
