Predeceased by her husband Frank, parents Guss and Josie and siblings Pius, Clarence and Anita. Survived by her sister Dorothy Botts (Dave), sisters-in-law Aldona Noonan and Doris Peters. She will always be remembered and sadly missed by her nieces and nephews and all their children. Special thanks to the staff at the Juravinski Hospital for all the tender care and support which they provided during her stay. Visitation will be held on Monday from 6-9 p.m. at the Cresmount Funeral Home with the Prayer Vigil at 8:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Annunciation of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church with interment to follow in the family plot at Resurrection Cemetery. Dorothy Mary Peters: The Hamilton Spectator (Hamilton, ONT), Saturday, 27 May 2023: (photo) Our mother has left us to join Dave, her husband of 70 years. Born in Duvar, P.E.I. to Josie and Gus Peters, she was the youngest of five children. Mother to David (Denise), Bob (Margaret) and Sheila (Dan). Grandmother to Miranda Letham, Steven (Brittany) Codispodi, David (Candice) Codispodi and Danielle Codispodi. She is survived by her in-laws; Mary Walker, Emeline Botts, Stan Botts (Gloria), Jean Hagen (John), Florence Arsenault and Esther Dean (Harry). Dorothy will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Both a stay-at-home Mom and a working woman, with years spent at Canadian Tire. She was the first Mom on the block to get her drivers license, which allowed her to transport her children and their teammates to all of their sporting events. As per her wishes cremation has taken place. A private family celebration has taken place. The family would like to thank the nursing staff, social workers, doctors and healthcare workers at the Juravinski (Nora Henderson) Hospital for the excellent and compassionate care provided. In lieu of flowers, Dorothy would love to have you perform a random act of kindness in her memory.
