Obituary:  Le Nouvelliste (QUE), Friday, 12 March 1937:  Mr. Oswald Pitre, husband of Germaine Pare, passed away March 11, at the age of 28 years.  He leaves, besides his spouse, daughter Lise; mother, Amanda Goulet; 4 brothers, Johnny, Albert, Arthur and Alex. of Cap-de-la-Madeleine; 3 sisters, Delia, of Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Lina, of Cap-de-la-Madeleine and Regina, of Montreal.  The body is on display at 275 St. Laurent street, Cap-de-la-Madeleine.

Obituary:  Mme Germaine Pare Moreau, 1910 - 1999 - At Charlevoix Centre Hospital, June 7, 1999, passed away at the age of 88 years and 11 months, Mrs. Germaine Pare, of first marriage, wife of the late Oswald Pitre, and second marriage the late Charles-Antoine Moreau, residing at Cap-de-la-Madeleine.  The family will receive relatives and friends at the Jean Carbonneau Funeral Home, Cap-de-la-Madeleine.  Visiting hours: Saturday, funeral day, from 11 am.  The funeral will be held Saturday, June 12, at Sainte Famille Church, of Cap-de-la-Madeleine, at 2 p.m.  Burial will be at the Sainte Madeleine cemetery.  She is survived by her children: Lise Pitre (Jean-Guy Alarie), Jean Moreau (Louisette Charron), Paul Moreau (Nicole Gauthier), Marcel Moreau (Carmen Morin), grandchildren: Jean Alarie, Michele, Pierre and Daniel Moreau, Steve (Sanghui), Mike, Lisa, all Moreau, Nancy Morin and 2 great-grandchildren: Steven, Stephanie, sister-in-law Blanche-Annie Moreau (late Edgar Dube), close friend Blanche Carpentier as well as several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.  Donations to the Heart Disease Foundation or the Lung Association of Quebec would be greatly appreciated.
