Obituary:  Daily World (Opelousas, LA), Monday, 18 January 1993:  Ville Platte - Funeral services for Mr. Odea Pitre, 75, were to be held at 10:30 a.m. today in Sacred Heart Catholic Church here with burial in Gates of Heaven Cemetery.  Mr. Pitre, a resident of Ville Platte, died at 10 p.m. Saturday in Humana Hospital in Ville Platte.  Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Hilda Tate Pitre of Ville Platte; a daughter, Mrs. William (Veronica) Miller of Monroe; and a granddaughter.  Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte was in charge of arrangements.

Obituary:  The Ville Platte Gazette (Ville Platte, LA), Thursday, 9 December 1993:  Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 9, for Mrs. Hilda T. Pitre, 79, with burial following in Gates of Heaven Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte.  Mrs. Pitre, a resident of Ville Platte, died at 9 a.m. Tuesday, December 7, at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital, after a long illness.  Mrs. Pitre was a housewife.  Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William 'Veronica' Miller of Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Dow Borland and Mrs. Earnie Shoalmire, both of Natchez, Mississippi; and a grandchild.

Veronica Marie Pitre:  The News Star (Monroe, LA), Wednesday, 24 February 2010:  Veronica Marie Miller, 72 - Veronica Marie Miller of Monroe, director of volunteer services for Louisiana Food Bank, died Friday.  Private memorial Mass for family will be 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Monroe.  Arrangements are under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe.
