Obituary:  The Town Talk (Alexandria, LA), Monday, 30 June 1975:  Oakdale, La. - Noah Pitre, 74, of Oakdale died at 4:15 a.m. Sunday in a Houma nursing home.  Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Ardoin Funeral Home with Rev. Rudolf Gordon officiating.  Burial will be in Pine Chapel Cemetery.

Obituary:  The Town Talk (Alexandria, LA), Friday, 29 December 1989:  Oakdale - Services for Rosa S. Pitre will be at 10 a.m. today in the chapel of Ardoin with the Rev. Bill Green officiating.  Burial will be in Pine Chapel Cemetery.  Mrs. Pitre, 89, of Oakdale died at 4 p.m. Wednesday in St. Patrick's Hospital, Lake Charles.  She was a homemaker.  Survivors include one brother, Norman Strother of Monroe; two sisters, Beatrice Fontenot of Lake Charles and Ethel Chitty of Oakdale; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.  Friends may call from 8 a.m. until time of services today in the funeral home.
