Obituary: Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), 23 December 1963: On Saturday, December 21, 1963, at 4:00 o'clock a.m., Alexander Noel Pitre, husband of the late Mae Cecilia Winslow; brother of Mrs. Elodie Breaux, the late Mrs. Armelise Detiveaux, Mrs. Emilie Babin, Jean Baptiste and Paul Pitre. Age 79 years, a native of Terrebonne Parish, and a resident of New Orleans for the past 17 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Services from the auxiliary funeral home of Jacob Schoen and Son Inc., 3827 Canal St. at N. Scott on Monday, December 23, 1963 at 11:15 o'clock a.m. with Requiem Mass at Incarnate Word Church. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
