Obituary:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA):  Morrison "Son" Pitre, 82, a native and resident of Cut Off, died April 4, 2004.  Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.  He is survived by his son, Leo Robert Pitre; daughter, Carolyn Pitre Angelette; sister, Mary Danos; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Clothilda Pitre; and parents, Leo and Antoinette Schouest Pitre.  He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater.  He was a member of V.F.W., State Pelican Club, Bayou Club of New Orleans and was a head of the Cut Off volunteer Fire Department for many years.

Obituary:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA):  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off for Clothilde "Clo" Danos Pitre, 77, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of Cut Off, who died at 6:12 p.m. Nov. 28, 2000.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time at the church.  Burial will be at the church cemetery.  She was the wife of Morrison "Son" R. Pitre; mother of Leo Robert Pitre and Carolyn P. Angelette; and sister of Albert Danos, Odette Orgeron and Joyce Dempster.  She is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Widless Albert and Alevira Autin Danos; and brother, Gilbert Danos.  She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society, Bayou Retirees, Pelican Retirees Camping Club and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.  Samart Funeral Home and Crematorium of Cut Off is in charge of the arrangements.  Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery at Cut Off, Lafourche Parish, La.
