ObituaryTimes Picayune (New Orleans, LA), 21 July 1939:  In New Orleans, La., on Wednesday, July 19, 1939, at 9 o'clock p.m., Leo Pitre, beloved husband of Altonette Schouest, father of Marie and Morrison Pitre, aged 41 years.  Funeral took place Thursday, July 20, 1939, at 4 o'clock p.m., from the late residence, Cut Off, La.  Services at the Cut Off Catholic church, Cut Off, La.  Interment in the Cut Off Catholic cemetery.  Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, La. in charge.

Obituary:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA):  Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off for Antoinette S.P. Williams, 88, a native and resident of Cut Off, who died Monday at 9:55 a.m.  Visitation is at Sacred Heart Catholic Church today from 1 p.m. until funeral time.  Interment is in the church cemetery.  She was the mother of Morrison Pitre and Marie Danos and sister of Lorida Lafont.  She is also survived by five grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leo Pitre and second husband, Joseph Williams; parents, Robert and Marie Guidry Schouest and sisters, Alexia Cheramie, Lonia St. Pierre, Katie Lombas and Mrs. Andre Curole.  Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano, is in charge of arrangements.

Marie Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), Friday, 4 March 2011:  Marie Pitre Danos, a native and resident of Cut Off, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011.  Visitation was from 10 a.m. to funeral time today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Mass was held at noon today at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.  She is survived by three daughters, Helen Dufrene and husband, Leroy, Laurie Rodrigue and husband, Ronald, and Monica Vizier; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, O'Donelle Danos; her parents, Leo and Antoinette C. Pitre; and one brother, Morrison Pitre.  Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Morrison Robert Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA):  Morrison "Son" Pitre, 82, a native and resident of Cut Off, died April 4, 2004.  Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.  He is survived by his son, Leo Robert Pitre; daughter, Carolyn Pitre Angelette; sister, Mary Danos; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Clothilda Pitre; and parents, Leo and Antoinette Schouest Pitre.  He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater.  He was a member of V.F.W., State Pelican Club, Bayou Club of New Orleans and was a head of the Cut Off volunteer Fire Department for many years.
