- Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), Monday, 13 August 1962: Summerside - The condition of Adelard Peters, 27, of Wellington, who is employed in Summerside with the M. F. Schurman Company is improving in Prince County Hospital where he was taken late Friday night after the car he was driving left the highway at St. Gilberts and rolled over. Peters suffered a badly lacerated face and a fractured collar bone. He was alone in the car, a '52 Ford when the accident occurred around midnight. Peters is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Maxim Peters, St. Louis and resides with his brother, Aubin at Wellington.

Aubin Joseph Peters: East Prince Funeral Home (PEI): (photo) Aubin Joseph Peters, January 11, 1930 - February 5, 2023: The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital of Aubin Joseph Peters of Summerside aged 93 years. Aubin was born in Palmer Road to his late parents Maxuim and Mary (Perry) Peters. Loving father of Darlene Peters, Kevin (Caroline) Peters, Ronnie Peters, Donna Peters (Wade), Betty Anne (Kevin) Rayner and grandfather to Matthew (Brooke) and Mitchel (Erin) also Krystle and her children, Brooklyn and Callan, Ashley (Jordan) and their children Fynn, Harrison, and Faye. Missed by his special family friends Barb and Blair Stewart and their three girls. Predeceased by his wife Rita (Gallant) Peters, special friend Leona Doucette, brothers Adelard, John, and Freddie. The funeral service will be held at East Prince Funeral Home and Chapel on Thursday February 9, 2023, at 2:30pm. Interment to take place at a later date in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Miscouche. If you wish, donations to the Cancer Society can be made in Aubin’s memory. There will be no visiting hours by personal request

Adelard was born in Palmer Road, P.E.I. to his late parents Maxime and Mary (nee Perry) Peters. Survived by his brother Aubin Peters of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his nieces Darlene Peters, Donna Peters (Wade Duncan), Betty Anne (Kevin) Rayner and nephews Kevin (Caroline) Peters and Ronnie Peters. Besides his parents, Adelard was predeceased by his brothers John and Fred and sister-in-law Rita Peters. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, Summerside until Friday, September 19th for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 A.M. Interment to take place in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Palmer Road. Memorial donations in Adelard’s memory to the funeral expense fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Thursday evening only, 7-9 p.m.
