She leaves to mourn her loss two sons and three daughters, Donald of Edmonton, George of Vancouver, Mrs. J. H. Stevens of Radio, California, Mrs. Charles Lange of Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. J. O. Vimeau of Campbellton, N.B. The funeral will be held on Monday morning at 9:45 from the family residence to St. Alphonsus Church where services will be held at 10 o'clock. Very Rev. C. F. Sullivan, C. Ss.R., will officiate and interment will take place in the Edmonton Catholic Cemetery. Prayers will be held on Sunday evening at 8:30 at the family residence. Connelly-McKinley Limited.

Eliza Francis Clare Petrie: The Desert Sun (Palm Springs, CA), Wednesday, 18 November 1970: Rosary for Frances C. Stevens, 66-291 Flora, Desert Hot Springs, will be recited at 7:30 tonight at Desert Mortuary Chapel in Desert Hot Springs. Mrs. Stevens, 77 years of age, died Sunday in a local hospital following a lengthy illness. She had been a desert resident for eight years. She is survived by two sisters, Gertrude Lange of Desert Hot Springs and Minnie Vieneau of Canada; and a brother, George Petrie of Canada. The Rev. Francis Nightingale, pastor of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Rolling Hills Cemetery in El Sobrante.
William Benedict Petrie: The Edmonton Bulletin (Edmonton, ALB), Thursday, 17 June 1915: (photo) Mr. and Mrs. Max Petrie 11448 86th street (382 Martin street) received a telegram on Tuesday from the adjutant-general at Ottawa, conveying the information that their son, Private William Petrie, died of wounds on the 3rd inst. Private Petrie, who was nearly nineteen years of age, was formerly employed at the C.N.R. freight sheds. He enlisted with "G" Company of the 101st, and was later transferred to the First Battalion, Fourth Brigade. He was a very bright young fellow, and was highly esteemed. The telegram from Ottawa was the first intimation his parents had received that he had been wounded. A letter, which reached them on May 21st, stated that he was well. There are three sisters - two being at home, and another, Mrs. Joe Vinneaux, at Campbellton, N.B.; and two brothers, one of whom is at home, and another in Australia. The family came to Edmonton from Campbelltown in 1912.

- The Desert Sun (Palm Springs, CA), Thursday, 4 May 1972: Rosary services for Gertrude P. Lange, 74, will be held at 7 p.m. Friday in Desert Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be said at noon Saturday in St. Elizabeth Church, the Rev. Francis Nightingale officiating. Mrs. Lange, who lived at 66-291 Flora, Desert Hot Springs, was a native of Canada but had lived in California for the past 13 years. She died Tuesday in Desert Hospital following a short illness. She is survived by a daughter, Ruth McCauley, Littleton, Colo., five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Montecito Memorial Park, San Bernardina.
