Obituary:  The Times Record (Brunswick, ME), Tuesday, 10 December 1935:  Maxim Peters, 62, a welder employed by the Bath Iron Works Corp., died of pneumonia Monday afternoon at the Memorial hospital following complications contracted while at his work.  He was born in Prince Edward Island, a son of Andrew and Margaret Doucette Peters, and came to Bath 45 years ago.  The family home is at 4 Meadow street.  He leaves besides his wife, five daughters: Mrs. William Foley, Philadelphia; Mrs. Stanley Leary and Miss Louise Peters, Buffalo, N.Y.; Mrs. Napoleon Guerrette, Topsham; Mrs. Arthur Stackpole, Bath; four grandsons; one brother, Patrick Peters, Quincy, Mass.; two sisters, Mrs. Leon Mullaney, Boston; Mrs. Cotreau, Brewster, Wash.  The funeral will be Thursday morning at eight in St. Mary's church.

Obituary:  The Times Record (Brunswick, ME), Thursday, 23 December 1971:  Bath - Mrs. Mary Ann Peters, 99, died at a local nursing home last night.  She was the widow of Maxim Peters who died in 1935.  Born in Alberton, P.E.I., April 19, 1872, she was the daughter of Simon and Bridget Cluney O'Connor.  She came to Bath about 75 years ago and has lived here ever since.  She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Bath and a former member of the Daughters of Isabella.  During the 1940s, she was employed as a seamstress at the Military and Naval Children's Home.  She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Margaret E. Foley, Mrs. Pauline Beaudoin, Mrs. Francis Guerette, and Mrs. Louise Snowden, all of Bath, and Mrs. Mary Leary, Buffalo, N.Y.; a sister, Mrs. Sadie Herbert of Kingsbury, N.J.; and ten grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church.  There will be parish prayers tonight at 8 at the Mayo Funeral Home, Bath.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.  Visiting hours are 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today.  Friends are asked to omit flowers.

Pauline Veronica Peters:  The Times Record (Brunswick, ME), Wednesday, 20 July 1977:  Bath - Pauline V. Beaudoin, 76, of Richardson Street, died at a local hospital Tuesday afternoon from injuries suffered when she was struck by a car on Leeman Highway.  She was born in Bath, Sept. 18, 1900, the daughter of Maxim and Mary A. O'Connor Peters.  She attended local schools and was a life-long resident here.  Her husband, Joseph T. Beaudoin, died in January, 1965.  Mrs. Beaudoin was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.  She is survived by four sisters, Margaret Foley, Frances C. Guerette and Louise M. Snowden, all of Bath, and Mary Leary, of Buffalo, N.Y.; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  Prayers will be said at the David E. Desmond Funeral Home, Bath, tomorrow night at 8.  A Funeral Mass will be said Friday morning at 10 at St. Mary's Church.  Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home, tomorrow from 2 to 9 p.m.

 

Catherine Frances Peters:  Portland Press Herald (ME), 19 December 1994:  Frances C. Guerette - Woolwich:  Frances C. Guerette, 92, died Sunday at the home of her son and his wife, John and Carol Guerette, after a long illness.  She was born in Bath, a daughter of Maxim and Mary A. O'Connor Peters, and attended local schools.  She married Napoleon J. Guerette on June 16, 1926, and they lived in Bath.  He died in 1979.  Mrs. Guerettte was employed for many years at the former Congress Sportswear in Bath and later was a housemother at the Military & Naval Children's Home until her retirement.  She had lived with her son since last September.  She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, and a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the Social Eight Club.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Harvey (Madelyn) Stilphen of Orrs Island and Mrs. Russell (Leanna) Burnham of Kennebunkport; two sons, John M. of Woolwich and Paul B. of Hampton, Va.; a sister, Mrs. Harriet Leary of Buffalo, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Church with the Rev. Joseph McKenna officiating.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bath.  Arrangements are by the David E. Desmond Funeral Home, 638 High St., Bath.

 

Louise Madeleine PetersThe Times Record (Brunswick, ME), Friday, 13 August 1982:  Bath - Louise M. Snowdon, 77, of 809 Washington St., died today, Aug. 13, at a Bath hospital.  She was born in Bath, March 12, 1905, the daughter of Maxim and Mary O'Connor Peters.  She was educated in the Bath schools and graduated from Morse High School.  She was a member of St. Mary's Church.  She worked at Auerbach Shoe for several years until it closed.  Her husband Winfred S. Snowdon died in 1954.  She is survived by a daughter, Mary Anne Sprague of Bath; a son, J. David Snowdon of Woolwich; three sisters, Frances Guerette and Margaret Foley, both of Bath, and Mary Leary of Buffalo, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.  A graveside service will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be held this evening from 7 to 9 at the David E. Desmond Funeral Home.
