Obituary:  The Bangor Daily News (Bangor, ME), Monday, 13 June 1966:  Maurice N. Peters - Maurice N. Peters, 90, died Saturday night at a local hospital following a long illness.  He was born in Tignish, P.E.I., April 7, 1876, son of Joseph and Veronica (Perry) Peters, but had been a resident of Brewer for the past 65 years.  He is a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Brewer.  Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Helen Graves, Mrs. Lillian Collins, both of Brewer, Mrs. Marion Adams of Bangor and Mrs. Dorothy Boyce of Dedham; one son, Donald E. of Otter Creek; 21 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Brewer.  Friends may call at the Crowe Funeral Home, 18 Forest Avenue, Bangor.

Obituary:  The Bangor Daily News (Bangor, ME), Thursday, 29 April 1965:  Mrs. Maurice N. Peters.  Mrs. Julia E. Peters, 80, of Brewer, died Tuesday evening at a local hospital.  She was born in Loggieville, N.B., October 5, 1884, but has been a resident of Brewer for the past 50 years.  She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Brewer.  Surviving, besides her husband, Maurice N. Peters of Brewer, are four daughters, Mrs. Marion Adams of Bangor, Mrs. Lillian Collins of Brewer, Mrs. Dorothy Boyce of Holden and Mrs. Helen Graves of Brewer; a son, Donald A. Peters of Otter Creek; a half-sister, Mrs. Ethel Gray of Otter Creek; a brother, George McLean of Canada; 39 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Friday at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Brewer.  Friends may call at the Crowe Funeral Home, Bangor.

Collins Sr., died April 8, 2000 at a Bangor health-care center.  She was born April 8, 1905, in Brewer, the daughter of Maurice and Julia (Beers) Peters.  Lillian was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Bangor.  She was also an avid and successful beano player.  Surviving are three children, Leon J. Collins Jr. and his wife, Catherine and Julia R. Gilmore, all of Brewer and Joan King and her husband, Edward of Unionville, Tenn.; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, one sister, Dorothy Boyce and her husband, William of Holden; several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a son, John Collins; a granddaughter, Cynthia Ellis; a brother, Donald Peters; and three sisters, Beatrice Lambert, Helen Graves and Marion Adams.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Catholic Church, Bangor, with the Rev. Gerard G. Gosselin, pastor, celebrant.  Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Kiley Funeral Home, Brewer, until the time of departure for the church.  Burial will be at Mt. Adams, 93, of Bangor, died Aug. 4, 1999, at a Bangor health care center.  She was born in Brewer, April 2, 1906, the daughter of Maurice and Julia (McLean) Peters.  Marion is survived by four children, Katherine Wiedeman and her hasband, Charles, Julia McCarthy, George Pangakis and his partner, Anna Caulkins and Jane Williams; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Boyce and her husband, William and Lillian Collins.  She was especially close to her great-grandson, Christopher D. Dow.  She was predeceased by her husbands, Peter K. Pangakis and Frederick J. Adams.  A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Lambert, 45, of outer Hammond street, died Wednesday at a local hospital.  She was born in Brewer, the daughter of Maurice and Julia Peters, and with the exception of the past two years had lived in Brewer all her life.  She is survived by her husband, Calvin T. Lambert, Sr.; her parents; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Williams of Pennsylvania, Mrs. Juanita Smith and Miss Beatrice Lambert, both of Bangor; five sons, Calvin Jr., David, Donald and Eugene, all of Bangor, and Albert, with the U.S. Army at Fort Dix, N.J.; four sisters, Mrs. Marion Pangakis of Bangor, Mrs. Leon Collins, Mrs. Helen Graves and Mrs. Morton Danforth, all of Brewer; one brother, Donald Peters of Otter Creek; four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Clark-Mitchell funeral home, Brewer, where friends may call at any time.

Donald Alexander Peters:  The Bangor Daily News (Bangor, ME), Friday, 17 February 1989:  Donald Alexander Peters.  Otter Creek - Donald A. Peters, 78, died Feb. 15, 1989, at a Bar Harbor hospital.  He was born March 28, 1910, the son of Morris and Julia (McLain) Peters.  He was a World War II Army veteran, serving with the Fifth Armored Division and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.  Donald was an avid sports enthusiast and was a Maine Golden Gloves champion during his youth.  He enjoyed his association with the Kebo Valley Golf Club and his community involvement with the Otter Creek Fire Co.  He worked for many years at the John J. O'Brian estate and later the Marion Higgins estate.  Before his retirement, he was employed at the Bar Harbor Ferry Terminal.  He is survived by his wife, Bernice (Smith) of Otter Creek; one son, Julian of West Palm Beach, Fla.; four sisters, Lillian Collins and Helen Graves, both of Brewer, Marion Adams of Bangor and Dorothy Boyce of East Holden.  Friends and relatives may call 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at the McFarland Funeral Home, Bar Harbor, where funeral services will be held 3 p.m., with the Rev. William Bigelow officiating.  Spring interment will be in the Otter Creek cemetery.  Those who wish may donate in his memory to the Heart Rehab Unit of the M.D.I. Hospital, Bar Harbor, or to the Otter Creek Fire Co., Otter Creek.

Graves, died Feb. 16, 1998, at a Brewer health-care center.  She was born in New Brunswick, Dec. 24, 1916, the daughter of Maurice and Julia (McLean) Peters.  Helen was a member and past president of Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 3177 of Brewer.  Surviving are two children, Shirley A. Dyer of Brewer and Ronald E. Graves and his wife, Diane of Daytona, Fla., eight grandchildren, Linda Tucker and her husband, Lawrence of Ellsworth, Carole Shore of Dayton, Ohio, Debbie Spaulding and her husband, Leslie of Brewer, Vicki Payson and her husband, Dennis of Veazie, Urban Dyer Jr. and his wife, Laura of Ellsworth, Karen Slater and her husband, Greg of Virginia, and Robin Graves of Bangor; eight great-grandchildren, three sisters, Dorothy Boyce of Holden, Lillian Collins of Brewer, and Marion Adams of Bangor; several nieces and nephews.  She will be remembered by a special friend, Paul Hatt of Brewer.  Funeral services will be held Friday at Kiley Funeral Home, Brewer, at a time to be announced.  Burial will be at Mt. Boyce Jr., died Dec. 26, 2003, at Brewer Rehabilitation and Living Center.  She was born June 3, 1922, in Brewer, the daughter of Maurice and Julia Peters.  In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Michael Danforth and his wife, Patricia; daughter, Victoria Clement and her husband, Andrew; grandchildren, Victoria, David, Dawn, Danielle and Ryan; three great-grandchildren; and many cousins.  She was predeceased by her parents; her daughter, Mary Danforth Lakeman; brother, Donald Peters; and sisters, Beatrice Lambert, Lillian Collins, Marion Adams, and Helen Graves.  Interment will be in the spring.  If friends wish, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association Maine Chapter, Portland, ME.
