Obituary:  Seattle Daily Times (WA), Monday, 23 June 1919:  Michael B. Peter dead - Resident of Seattle for sixteen years succumbs - Michael B. Peter, 78 years old, resident of Seattle sixteen years, died last night at midnight at the family home, 843 Trenton St.  Mr. Peter is survived by his widow, Mrs. Cecelia Peter and eleven sons and daughters, Fred D. Peter, Deadwood, S.D.; Michael A. Peter, Lewistown, Mont.; Mrs. Alice Martin, Salt Lake, Utah; Josephine Peter, Mrs. Sarah A. Dore, Mrs. Ida Brown, Mrs. C. S. La Riviere, Mrs. W. M. Bezzio, Mrs. F. S. Yocum, Paul Peter of Seattle and J. H. Peter of Yakima.  Funeral services will be held in the church of Our Lady of Lourdes at South Park Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock and interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Obituary:  Seattle Daily Times, Monday, 27 December 1926:  Mrs. Cecilia Peter Dies - Mrs. Cecilia Peter, 81 years old, a resident of Seattle for twenty years, died yesterday at her home, 1134 17th Ave.  Surviving her are five daughters, Mrs. T. Kleinschmidt, San Diego, Cal.; Miss Josephine Peter, Mrs. Sarah Dore, Mrs. Ida Brown and Mrs. F. S. Yocum, all of Seattle; and four sons, Paul E. Peter of Seattle, Fred D. Peter of Deadwood, S.D.; Michael Peter of Compton, Cal., and Henry Peter of Auburn.  The body is at the Georgetown Undertaking Company with funeral arrangements not yet completed.

Alfred Dalbert Pitre:  Lead Daily Call (Lead, SD), Thursday, 24 February 1944:  Fred D. Peter, Deadwood Pioneer, Succumbs Today:  Fred D. Peter, retired Deadwood mail carrier, succumbed at the family home at 308 Williams street in that city shortly after 12 o'clock today noon, as the result of complications following an attack in influenza he suffered before the holidays.  The deceased was born in Canton, New York, and had he lived until April would have been 81 years of age.  He came to Deadwood in the early days and carried a city mail route for 27 years.  He was retired about 19 years ago.  Surviving relatives and his wife and four stepchildren who are Bert Elward, Lead; Lyle Elward, Deadwood; Roscoe Elward, who is in the service, and Vera Elward, a recreation hostess at Camp Carson, Colo.  The body is at the Schulte funeral home in Deadwood, and arrangements await word from relatives living at a distance.  He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic church and the Knights of Columbus.

Sarah Alvira Peter:  Seattle Daily Times (WA), Wednesday, 21 December 1955:  Mrs. Paul Dore - Requiem Mass for Mrs. Sarah Peter Dore, 80, of 413 First Av. N., a resident here about 60 years, was said this forenoon in the Sacred Heart Church.  Burial was in Holyrood.  Mrs. Dore died Sunday.  She was born in Waukegan, Ill.  She had been active in church work as a younger woman.  Mrs. Dore is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John Foley, Yakima, and Mrs. P.M. O'Leary and Mrs. Dan J. Nolan, both of Seattle; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Yocum, Seattle, and Mrs. Frank Cyr, Yakima; two brothers, Henry Peter, Carnation, and Michael Peter, Compton, Calif., and 11 grandchildren.  Mrs. Dore was the widow of Paul Dore.

Brown.  She was born in Waukegan, Ill.  Surviving are four brothers, Fred D. Peter, Deadwood, S.D.; Michael A. Peter, Compton, Calif.; J. Henry Peter, Seattle, and Paul E. Peter, Carnation, and four sisters, Josephine L. Peter, Carnation; Mrs. Sarah Dore and Mrs. Fred Yocum, Seattle, and Mrs. Frank Cyr, Yakima.

 

Joseph Henry Peter:  Arizona Republic (Phoenix, AZ), Wednesday, 4 April 1962:  Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in the Church of St. Agnes, for Joseph H. Peter, 81, who died Sunday in Good Samaritan Hospital, Whitney and Murphy Funeral Home announced.  Requiem High Mass will be at 9 a.m. tomorrow in the Church of St. Agnes.  Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.  Born in Waukegan, Ill., Mr. Peter, who moved to Phoenix five years ago, lived at 2014 N. 23rd Place.  He was a retired carpenter.  He is survived by his wife, Josephine, and two sisters, Mrs. Millie E. Cyr, Yakima, Wash., and Mrs. Anna Yocum, Seattle.

Amelia 'Millie' Peter:  Yakima Herald Republic (WA), 3 November 1980:  Amelia "Millie" Cyr, 94, of Richland died Sunday in the Life Care Center in Richland.  She was born Nov. 24, 1885 in Illinois.  Later she moved to Seattle and in 1936 came to Yakima.  In 1977 she moved to Richland.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Cyr, and a son, Paul Bezzio.  She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.  She is survived by one son, Michael Bezzio of Richland, and one grandchild.  She was preceeded in death by her husband Frank Cyr and a son Paul Bezzio.
