Obituary:  Le Nouvelliste (Trois Rivieres, QUE), Friday, 3 January 1969:  Pitre, M. Ernest - At Trois Rivieres, on 1st January 1969, Mr. Ernest Pitre, husband of the late Zenaide Gamache, residing at 4450 Mgr of Laval, Trois Rivieres, died at the age of 79 years and 10 months, . The funeral will take place on Friday, January 3, at St. Jean de Brebeuf church at 3:30 p.m.  The mortal remains are on display at Philibert Funeral Home, Trois Rivieres.  Burial will take place in Saint Louis cemetery.  The deceased is survived by daughters: Marie Paule, Carmel (Mrs. Paul Rouette), son-in-law Mr. Paul Rouette, a brother-in-law Mr. Arthur Fairfield, Trois Rivieres, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Lorrain; grandchildren: Doris and Lyse Rouette, as well as many nephews and nieces.

Obituary:  Le Nouvelliste (Trois Rivieres, QUE), Monday, 21 August 1961:  Pitre - At Trois Rivieres, 19 August 1961, Mrs. Ernest Pitre, nee Zenaide Gamache, residing at 1568, Lajoie Trois Rivieres, died at the age of 69 years.  The deceased is survived by, besides her husband, her daughters: Miss Marie-Paule, Mrs. Paul Rouette, nee Carmel, her son-in-law Mr. Paul Rouette; one sister, Mrs. J. N. Lorrain; one brother, Arthur; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Mrs. Arthur Fairfield, Mr. Arthur Gamache, Mr. J. N. Lorrain, Mr. Dominateur Pitre; grandchildren: Doris and Lise, also many nephews and nieces.  The funeral will take place on August 22, 1961.  The funeral procession will leave Rousseau & Brothers Funeral Home, Trois Rivieres, at 8:45 to proceed to St. Sacrament Church where the funeral service will be sung at 9 a.m. followed by a service at Rockland where a final blessing will be given and burial will take place.  Friends and family are invited to attend.

Ste-Marie de Trois Rivieres, Miss Marie-Paule Pitre resident of Trois Rivieres, passed away on April 18, 1989.  The funeral will take place on Thursday, 20 April, at St. Laurent church, at 11 a.m.  The deceased will not be exposed.  She has been entrusted to Centre Funeraire Rousseau and Brother Ltd., Trois Rivieres.  The family will welcome friends and relatives to the church 30 minutes before the religious service.  Burial will take place at St. Michel Cemetery at a later date.  The deceased is survived by her sister: Mrs. Carmel Pitre-Rouette (late Paul Rouette) of Trois Rivieres; nieces and nephews: Doris Rouette (Andre Quirion) of Trois Rivieres, Lyse Rouette (Jean-Pierre Drolet) of Trois Rivieres; also many friends.  Any donations to Albatros would be appreciated.

 

Carmel Pitre:  Le Nouvelliste (Trois Rivieres, QUE), Friday, 16 November 1990:  (photo) Rouette Pitre Mrs. Carmel: At St. Joseph Hospital in Trois Rivieres, on November 15, 1990, Mrs. Carmel Pitre, wife of the late Mr. Paul Rouette, resident of Trois Rivieres, passed away.  The funeral will take place on Saturday, November 17, at St. Sacrament Church, at 3 p.m.  The deceased will not be exposed, but she is entrusted to Centre Funeraire Rousseau and Brother Ltd., Trois Rivieres.  The family will welcome friends and relatives to the church 30 minutes before the religious service.  Burial will take place at Pointe du Lac Cemetery at a future date.  The deceased is survived by her children: Doris (Andre Quirion), Lyse (Jean-Pierre Drolet); grandson Joel Drolet; her mother-in-law Mrs. Annette Rouette; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Marcel Rouette (Helene Lamarre), Suzanne Rouette-Clair, Denise Rouette-Guillemette, Francoise Painchaud-Rouette, Suzanne Cinq-Mars-Rouette, Rosanne Bousquet-Rouette, also many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.  Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
