Obituary:  Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), 26 July 1982:  Leo T. Pitre, of Westwego, La., on Friday, July 23, 1982, at 7 o'clock p.m., beloved husband of Thelma LaRose Pitre; father of Rodney J. Pitre, brother of Harry and Mark Pitre and the late Maurice and Herbert Pitre, son of the late Marius and Ida Elliott Pitre; also survived by 3 grandchildren.  Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Avondale Shipyards are invited to attend the funeral service from the West Side Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Monday, July 26, at 9 o'clock a.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the funeral home chapel.  Interment in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery.  Visitation on Sunday, July 25, from 6 p.m. until midnight and on Monday, July 26, from 7 a.m. until service time.
