Obituary:  Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), Monday, 9 March 1964:  Peters - On Friday, March 6, 1964, Mrs. Leon Peters of Pleasant View formerly of Bloomfield in her 77th year.  Forwarded from the Rooney Funeral Home to the home of Sylvere Peters, Pleasant View, from where the funeral will be held Tuesday, March 10 leaving the home at 9 o'clock to St. Anthony's Church, Bloomfield for Requiem High Mass at 10 o'clock.  Interment in the church cemetery.

Rita Marie Peters:  The Standard (St. Catherines, ONT), Wednesday, 21 October 1998:  Van Teunenbroek, Rita Marie (Peters) - Passed away peacefully at home in Fenwick with her loving husband at her side on Monday, October 19, 1998 in her 75th year.  Beloved wife of 47 years to John.  Devoted and loving mother to John and Debra van Teunenbroek of Newmarket, Heather and Al Curnew of Stoney Creek, Jacqueline and Eugene Gierczak of Mississauga, Monique van Teunenbroek and Bryan Jantzen of Port Moody, B.C. and Michele and Eric Smith of Grafton.  Dear sweet Nana to John, Robyn, Lynn, Joshua, Sarah, Melissa, Michael, Alhaster and Johon.  Rita was predeceased by brothers Alfred, Sylvere, Bert, Leo, Robert, Joseph and sisters Lucille, Edna and Clara.  Momma will always be remembered for her great love and kindness to all the many lives she touched.  Rita was also a member of the Catholic Womens League.  The family will receive friends at the Lampman Funeral Home, Fenwick on Wednesday, October 21 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 22 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Anns Catholic Church in Fenwick.  Rite of Committal in Fonthill Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Princess Margaret Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
