Obituary:  Daily World (Opelousas, LA), Monday, 25 June 1990:  Ville Platte - Funeral services for Mr. Leo Joseph Pitre, 73, were to be held at 11 a.m. today in Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church here with burial in St. Peter's Cemetery in Grand Prairie.  Mr. Pitre, a resident of Ville Platte, died at 3:38 a.m. Sunday in Humana Hospital in Ville Platte.  Survivors include his wife, Maudry Fontenot Pitre of Ville Platte; three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Peggy) Baker of Pine Prairie, Mrs. Carol (Carla) Fontenot and Mrs. Todd (Annette) Deville, both of Ville Platte; a brother, Howard "Cayou" Pitre of Ville Platte; two sisters, Mrs. Roosevelt (Nell) Joubert and Mrs. Melvin (Pearl) Soileau, both of Ville Platte; eight grandchildren.  Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte was in charge of arrangements.
