Obituary: The Bay City Times (Bay City, MI), Sunday, 10 January 1982: Peters, Loyal D. "Pete", Bay City - Mr. Peters died at 10:45 A.M. Saturday, January 9, 1982, at Bay Medical Care Facility following a lingering illness. Age 68 years, he was born in River Rouge, Michigan, on August 15, 1913, and was a resident of Bay City most of his life. Before his retirement, he was a salesman for Banner Linen Service. "Pete" was a member of St. Boniface Church; League of Catholic Women and Men; Loyal Order of Moose No. 169; Life Member of Bay City Federation of Musicians Local #127; and the Teamsters' Union. He is survived by his wife, the former Kathryn Bosley; two daughters and one son: Mrs. Thomas (Patricia) Nemode; Mrs. Donald (Jeanne) Weber; and William Peters, all of Bay City; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; one sister: Mrs. Eleanore LeTourneau of Bay City; one brother: John Charles (Chuck) Peters of Taylor, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. in the W. A. Trahan Funeral Chapel, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Robert DeLand, and interment following in St. Patrick Cemetery. Wake Service at the funeral chapel will be Monday at 3:00 P.M. Friends may call at the Trahan Chapel Sunday from 3:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., and Monday from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M.

Obituary: The Bay City Times (Bay City, MI), Sunday, 30 July 1995: Peters, (Bosley) Kathryn C., Bay City, Michigan - Mrs. Peters passed away Friday evening, July 28, 1995 at her residence following a brief illness. Age 77 years. She was born July 5, 1918 in Bay City and has resided in the area all of her life. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and the League for Catholic Men and Women. She was a retired manager of Operator Services at the former Michigan Bell Telephone Co. and member of the Telephone Pioneers. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Nemode and her special, Michael O'Connor of Bay City; three grandchildren: William Wesolek and his fiancee, Sarah Crook, Matthew and Amanda Nemode; one sister and brother-in-law, Frances (Lawrence) Clemens of Bay City; several close nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Loyal D. Peters in 1982, her parents, Henry and Mary Bosley; one brother, Eldon Bosley, and one sister, Marion McPhee. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday, July 31, 1995 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. James W. Bessert with the Rite of Committal in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc., on Sunday from 1:00 to 9:00 P.M. Mrs. Peters will be taken to the church on Monday to lie in state from 9:00 A.M. and until the time of services. The Parish Wake Service will take place Sunday evening at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial cards for the American Cancer Society or the donor's favorite charity will be available at the funeral home.

Daniel Ueters Peters: The Bay City Times (Bay City, MI), Tuesday, 30 December 1941: Peters - Daniel Ueters, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Peters, 716 North Henry street, died at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at Mercy hospital. Daniel was born Oct. 13, 1940, in Bay City, and was a member of Visitation church. Surviving besides his parents is a sister, Jean Ann; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel J. Cody and Mrs. Edna Peters, all of Bay City. Funeral services will be held at Blanchard Funeral home at 10:30 o'clock Wednesday morning, and at the church at 11 o'clock, with the Rev. Fr. George O. DeQuoy officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
William T. Peters: The Bay City Times (Bay City, MI), Sunday, 3 January 2021: (photo) Peters, William T., Bay City, Michigan - William passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 77 years. William was born in Bay City on June 16, 1943 to the late Loyal and Mary Eileen (Cody) Peters. He was a member of Visitation Catholic Church and later Our Lady of Peace Parish. William enjoyed trivia games, playing cards, Detroit Lions football, Elvis Presley and collecting horse statues. In his early years he enjoyed bowling and won many trophies. William was a member and on the board of the National Association of Physically Handicapped. William is survived by his nephews, Danny Weber and Lauren (Debra) Weber; niece Valerie (Bill) Daly; significant other, Jill Torres and many friends and caregivers. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Jean Weber and brother, Daniel Peters. At the request of William, cremation has taken place; a memorial service will take place at a later date with inurnment in Calvary Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to make a memorial contribution to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
