Obituary:  The Liberty Vindicator (Liberty, TX), Thursday, 10 December 1964:  Raywood - Funeral services were held in Immaculate Conception Church at 10 a.m. Saturday for Leo Bradley Pitre, 61, of Raywood, with Rev. Anthony J. Nicholson officiating.  Burial was in Fairlawn Memorial Cemetery with Allison Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.  Rosary had been said Friday evening in Allison Memorial Chapel.  Mr. Pitre died Friday at 8 a.m. in Kersting Hospital.  Born in Pawnee, La., he had been a resident of Raywood for and operator of the Pitre Water Well Drilling Company and a member of Immaculate Conception Church.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ina Mae Pitre of Raywood; his mother, Mrs. R.D. Pitre Sr. of Rosenberg; one brother, R.D. Pitre Jr of Morgan City, La., and two sisters, Mrs. D.F. Shell of Rosenberg and Mrs. M.M. Flournoy of Huntington.  Pallbearers were Tad LaFour, Appo LaFour, Warren Finklea, T.D. Hines, C.W. Kinnear, O.F. Schauble, Sylvis Long, and Johnny Coleman.

Obituary:  The Liberty Vindicator (Liberty, TX), Thursday, 1 May 1969:  Funeral services for Mrs. Ina Mae Pitre, 63, of Raywood were held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Liberty with the Rev. A. J. Nicholson and the Rev. Richard DeStephano officiating.  Burial was in Fairlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.  A Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the Allison Funeral Service Chapel.  Pallbearers were T. D. Hines, Appo and Tad LaFour, Jack Loftis, Silvis Long, Merle Gillard, Jimmy and Rommie Davis.  She died at 1:15 a.m. Sunday in Kersting Memorial Hospital in Liberty.  She lived in Raywood for the past 19 years and was owner of Pitre Water Well Drilling Co.  She was a Catholic and member of the Altar Society of Liberty.  Survivors are two brothers, Sim Deblanc of Liberty and Archie Deblanc of Angleton and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Creel and Miss Edaline Deblanc, both of Liberty.
