Obituary:  Worcester Telegram & Gazette (MA), Thursday, 20 February 1992:  Mendon - Kenneth R. Peters, 70, of 4 Northbridge Road, formerly of Milford, died yesterday at Milford Hospital.  He leaves his wife, Matilda A. (George) Peters; two sons, John P. Villani of Hopedale and G. Joseph Villani in Pennsylvania; two daughters, Janet Kimball of Mendon and Mary E. Peters of Council Bluffs, Iowa; two brothers, Lawrence Peters of Oakfield, Maine, and Earlon Peters of Meriden, Conn.; two sisters, Beaulah Hackett of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, and Dorothy Cessario of Southington, Conn.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.  He was born in Merrill, Maine, son of Francis X. and Mary E. (Splan) Peters, and lived in Milford for 36 years.  He moved back to Maine in 1980, where he worked for Pratt & Whitney Co. for nine years.  He moved to Mendon three years ago.  He was a 1938 graduate of Merrill High School.  Mr. Peters also had worked for the former Draper Corp. as a millwright.  He was a World War II Army veteran.  The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow from Ruggerio Memorial Funeral Home, Milford, followed by a Mass at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Milford.  Burial will be in Bourne National Cemetery, Bourne.  Calling hours at the funeral home are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.

Obituary:  Worcester Telegram & Gazette (MA), Saturday, 20 May 1995:  Milford - Matilda A. (George) Peters, 79, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, formerly of Milford, died yesterday in the Sidney Health Center, in Sidney, Iowa, after an illness.  Her husband, Kenneth Peters, died in 1992.  She leaves two sons, John Villani of Hopedale and Guerino Villani of Glen Moore, Pa.; two daughters, Janet Kimball of Mendon and Mary Peters of Council Bluffs; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  She was born in Milford, daughter of John and Agnes (Carroll) George, and lived in Holliston for 30 years, where she attended local schools.  She returned to Milford for 16 years and later moved to Wells, Maine, then Mendon, before moving to Council Bluffs last fall.  Mrs. Peters worked many years at the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles.  The funeral will be from Ruggerio Memorial Funeral Home, with a Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Michael's Church, Mendon.  Burial will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.  Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
