Obituary: The Times Transcript (Moncton, NB), Monday 29 February 1988: Robertville - Wilfred Pitre, 84, of Villa Chaleur Nursing Home, Bathurst, and formerly of Robertville, died Saturday at the Moncton Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Robertville, he was a son of the late Pierre and Marie (Frenette) Pitre. He is survived by his wife, the former Brigitte Boudreau; five sons: Hermenegilde of Robertville, Philippe and Paul both of Petit Rocher, Patrice of Big River and Magella of Nigadoo; four daughters: Mrs. Alvin Wilson (Exezella) of Robertville, Mrs. Christian Cloutier (Corinne) and Mrs. Bruno Lagace (Anne-Marie), both of Montreal, and Mrs. Martin Doucet (Lina) of Dunlop; two brothers George of Nicholas Denys and Zenon of Robertville; 34 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The body is at Verret's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday at Ste. Therese Roman Catholic Church, Robertville, at 7 p.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.

She was the daughter of the late Alex Boudreau and the late Marie-Jeanne Bertin. She is survived by five sons: Paul (Rose-Marie) of Tremblay, Patrick (Alma) of Bathurst, Philippe (Victoria) of Petit Rocher, Hermenegilde (Liliane) of Robertville and Magella (Lise) of Nigadoo; four daughters: Euzella (Alvin Wilson) of Bathurst, Lina (Martin Doucet) of Dunlop, Anne Marie (Bruno Lagace) and Corinne (Christian Cloutier), both of Montreal; one sister, Adelia Duguay of the Villa Chaleur of Bathurst, also 35 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. One son, Clovis; four brothers: Adolphe, Dominique, Joseph and Edmond, also two sisters: Mathilda and Georgina, preceded her to the grave. She was the wife of the late Alvin Wilson and the daughter of the late Wilfred Pitre and the late Brigitte Boudreau. She is survived by her son: Renald (Sophie) of Bathurst, daughters: Denise (Alexandre) of Dieppe, Nicole (Tim) of Bathurst, Carole of Bathurst, nine darling grandchildren: Jeremie, Catherine, Mariane, Marie, Charles, Claire, Edouard, Mathias, Adrien and dear great-granddaughter Maude. She also leaves her sisters in mourning: Anne-Marie, Lina; her brothers: Patrice, Paul, Majella and several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces as well as precious friends. She now rests beside her dear daughter Sylvie, her sister Corinne, her brothers Clovis, Hermenegilde and Philippe. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Born in Sainte-Therese, he was the son of the late Wilfred Pitre and the late Brigitte Boudreau. Besides his spouse, he is survived by two sons: Jean-Claude (Nicole) of Nigadoo and Daniel of Lloydminster, Alberta. A daughter, Lise Pitre of Petit-Rocher. Six grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Three brothers: Paul Pitre (Rose Marie) from LaPlante, Patrice Pitre (Alma) from Bathurst, Majella Pitre (Ginette) from Petit-Rocher. Four sisters: Exella Wilson (late Alvin) of Bathurst, Corinne Pitre (Christian Cloutier) of Lacolle, Qc and Anne Marie Pitre (Bruno Lagace) of Delson, Qc, Lina Doucet (Paul Robichaud) of Dalhousie. 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. followed by the funeral at 2 p.m. in the church of Lacolle.
