Obituary:  The Ottawa Journal (Ottawa, ONT), Saturday, 10 Mar 1951:  Pitre, Wilfred - At his home, Beckwith Township, Thursday, March 8, 1951, Wilfred Pitre, beloved husband of Clara Gorman, in his 69th year.  Funeral from Patterson and Son Funeral Home, Lake Ave West, Carleton Place, Monday, at 10 a.m., to St. Mary's Church for requiem mass, thence to St. James vault.

Obituary:  The Ottawa Journal (Ont), Wednesday, 11 August 1954:  Pitre, Clara Elizabeth - In Carleton Place, Ont., on Tuesday, August 10, 1954, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alex Watson, 27 Sarah St., Clara Elizabeth Gorman, widow of Wilfred Pitre, in her 64th year.  Resting at Patterson and Son Funeral Home, Lake Ave. W., Carleton Place.  Funeral notice later.

Viola Marguerite Deora Pitre:  The Ottawa Citizen (Ottawa, ONT), Monday, 2 January 1989:  Watson, Viola Deora in hospital at Carleton Place, Ontario on Sunday, January 1, 1989.  Viola Deora Petrie, in her 84th year, beloved wife of the late Alexander (Sandy) Watson; survived by several nieces and nephews.  Resting at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, on Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Service in the chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m.  Reverend Robert Hill officiating.  Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Perth, Ontario.  Donations to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
