Charlotte E. Peters:  Charlotte Elizabeth Patton, Frederick, Maryland, July 3, 1923 - May 19, 2021:  Charlotte Elizabeth Patton passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.  Born July 3, 1923 in Brooklyn, NY to William and Charlotte Peters, Charlotte joined the US Army in 1945 as a nurse on The Republic, where she met her future husband, William.  She settled in Maryland with her late-husband to raise a family, where she remained until her passing.  The matriarch of a large family, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.  Charlotte’s hobbies included spinning yarn, weaving, lace making as well as enjoying numerous trips and experiences with her family.  She will be remembered as a strong, independent woman with a big smile.  She is survived by five children, Pam, Valerie, Cynthia, Melissa and Jeff; ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one sister, Dorothy.  She was predeceased by her husband, William, her daughter, Stephanie, and her grandson, Jon.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM on Tuesday, May 25th at the Resthaven Funeral Home & Community Center in Frederick, MD, where a funeral service will begin at 12:30 PM.  Inurnment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

Dorothy A. Peters:  Dorothy A. (Sietmann) Keirsbilck, July 18, 1925 - November 14, 2023:  Greece, NY, Tuesday, 14 November 2023:  Dorothy A. Sietmann-Keirsbilck.  Predeceased by her husbands, Frederick Sietmann, George Keirsbilck, daughter, Mary Ellen, sister, Charlotte, son-in-law, Mark Nevada.  Survived by her son, Robert (Marion Fitzsimmons) Sietmann, daughters, Diane (Edward) Wegman, Deborah Nevada,  grandchildren, Nicole Castillo, Ashley (Sam) Schrier, Jason Nevada, great-grandchildren, Jackson and Noah Schrier, Lauren Castillo, stepdaughters, Kathleen Keirsbilck and Susan Tanea.  No prior calling hours.  On Friday morning, the family invites friends to meet at 9:30 at Saint Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Rochester, NY for her mass of Christian burial.  Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to a charity of choice in memory of Dorothy.
