Obituary:  The Providence Sunday Journal (Providence, RI), Sunday, 17 May 1931:  Peters - In this city, on the 16th inst., William Joseph, beloved husband of Vinne (DeRoche) Peters.  Funeral Tuesday, May 19, at 8:30 a.m. from the late residence, 24 Washburn street.  Solemn high mass in St. Patrick's Church at 9 a.m.  Relatives and friends invited to attend.  Prince Edward Island papers please copy.

Obituary:  The Evening Bulletin (Providence, RI), Monday, 26 October 1981:  Providence - Mary V. Peters, 83, of 160 Bath St., a dental technician for 50 years before retiring 20 years ago, died yesterday at home.  She was the widow of William Peters.  Born in Prince Edward Island, Canada, a daughter of the late Hilarion and Sarah Jane DeRoches, she lived in Providence for 60 years.  Mrs. Peters was a former member of the Rosary and Altar Society of St. Patrick's Church.  She was a member of the National Senior Citizens Association.  She leaves a brother, Lawrence N. DeRoches of Portland, Maine.  The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8 a.m. from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick's Church-School Chapel at 9.  Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
