Obituary: The Lowell Sun (Lowell, MA), Saturday, 7 October 1939: Ulderic Pitre, a former resident of Wamesit, died this morning at the Tewksbury State infirmary in his 78th year. He is survived by three brothers, George, Fred and Emile Pitre; one sister Mrs. Amelie Savard and a step-daughter, Mrs. Edward J. Mosher. The body was taken to this city and removed to the Archambault funeral home, where relatives and friends may call.
And: Pitre - Died in Tewksbury, Oct. 7, Ulderic Pitre, aged 78 years. Funeral Monday morning at 9 o'clock from the Archambault funeral home. Solemn high funeral mass at St. Jean Baptiste church, at 10 o'clock. Burial in St. Joseph's cemetery.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Edward Mosher and Mrs. Ernest Mercier of Lowell, and three sons, Geo. Pitre of Easthampton, Frank Pitre of Lowell and William Pitre of Canada. She was a member of Cercle d'Youville.
