Obituary:  The Northern Light (NB), 3 April 1952:  Doran Theodore Pitre his real name, of West Bathurst, died March 27, 1952 at age 67, carpenter, born in Beresford, but almost all his life in West Bathurst, husband of Henrietta Glazier.  Two daughters: Edna at home, Evelyn (Donald Jones) from Los Angeles.  An adopted daughter Imelda at home.  Four sons: James (Ennadi Lake, NWT), Willie of Bathurst West, Gerald of Noranda, Que., Corporal Edward of Calgary.  One brother Willie of Huntingdon, Long Island, and two sisters: Mrs. Raymond Doucet of Yonkers, N.Y., and Mrs. Van Harvey of Portland, Maine.  Three half-brothers; Wally, Mose, Duncan; and three brothers-in-law: Lawrence Aubé, Willie DeGrâce (Georgina) and Ernest Pitre (Eva). 

 

Notes for Henriette (Landry) Glazier:

- Henrietta "Hattie" Glazier born in 1889.  Hattie was the natural daughter of Dr. Landry of Bathurst. She was the daughter of the sister of James Glazier's 2nd wife who adopted her.
