Obituary: The Times-Picayune (New Orleans, LA), Friday, 7 August 1992: Dorothy Elizabeth Pete, a homemaker, died of a stroke Wednesday at East Jefferson General Hospital. She was 74. Mrs. Pete was born in New Orleans and lived in Metairie for many years. Survivors include a son, Gary John Pete; a daughter, Kay Caruso; a sister, Louise Rudisell; and four grandchildren. A Mass will be said today at 1 p.m. at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
