Obituary:  The Boston Globe (MA), Monday, 25 June 2007:  Peters, Joseph J. - of East Boothbay, ME, formerly of Wilmington, June 23.  Beloved husband of the late Florence (Howell) Peters;  father of Joseph Peters and his wife Trudy of North Andover and Mark Peters and his wife Andrea of East Boothbay, ME; grandfather of Douglas of Merrimack, NH, Scott of Tewksbury, Kimberly of Haverhill, Kellie of Shirley, Melissa of Lexington and Christine of Boothbay, ME; brother of Rose Holland of Tyngsboro, the late Albert, the late Francis, the late Henry, the late Wilfred, the late Emily, the late Margaret and the late Edna Peters.  Also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the W.S. Cavanaugh & Son Funeral Home, on Tuesday afternoon from 12:00-1:00, followed by a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 1 pm.  Interment will follow in the family lot Wildwood Cemetery, in Wilmington.  Memorial donations in Mr. Peters' name may be made to Boothbay Region YMCA, Boothbay Harbor, ME or St. Andrews Hospital Palliative Care, Boothbay Harbor, ME.  WWII Marine Veteran.
