Obituaries for the children:

Theobert Pitre:  Daily World (Opelousas, LA), Tuesday, 28 September 1971:  Lawtell - Funeral services for Theobert Pitre, 73, of Lawtell, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at St. Bridget Catholic Church.  Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of the First National Funeral Home.  Pitre, a retired farmer, died at 7:15 p.m. Monday at Opelousas General Hospital.  He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Carlton Bourgeois, Mrs. Ernest Olivier and Mrs. James Beaugh, all of Lawtell.

 

Isaure 'Ezer' Pitre:  Daily World (Opelousas, LA), Monday, 5 October 1998:  Lawtell - Funeral services for Mrs. Isaure Bourgeois, 93, the former Isaure Pitre, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bridget Catholic Church here with the Rev. Picard officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Mrs. Bourgeois, a resident of Lawtell, died at 7:15 a.m. Monday, October 5, 1998, in Doctors' Hospital of Opelousas.  Survivors include: one son, Aubrey Bourgeois of Boca Raton, Fla.; two daughters, Bonnie Venable of Lawtell and Welda Begnaud of Opelousas; five grandchildren, Deborah Fruge, Dwayne Begnaud, Paula Daigle, Michael Bourgeois and Kevin Bourgeois; and four great-grandchildren, Alex Fruge, Ross Fruge, Cole Begnaud and Shelby Daigle.  Visiting hours will be observed from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. until the time of services on Wednesday.  A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday.  Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas is in charge of arrangements.
