Obituary:  The Spokesman Review (Spokane, WA), Saturday, 7 March 1987:  Private service was held for Joe A. Pete, who died Thursday at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d'Alene.  He was 75.  English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d'Alene was in charge of cremation.  Mr. Pete came to Coeur d'Alene in 1930 from Seattle and had been a bartender.  He served a tour of duty with the Merchant Marine.  Survivors include two sisters.  His wife, Lucille (Millison) Pete, died earlier.

Obituary:  Spokane Chronicle (Spokane, WA), Tuesday, 27 November 1984:  Private memorial service was Monday at English Funeral Chapel for Lucille K. Pete, 74, a Coeur d'Alene resident who died Saturday at Kootenai Medical Center.  She was born Oct. 26, 1910, in Ismay, Mont., and came to Coeur d'Alene in 1929.  She had been an office worker for several Coeur d'Alene firms.  Mrs. Pete is survived by her husband, Joe, at the home, and a sister, Mable Bjornstead, Spokane.
