Obituary:  Falgout Funeral Homes (LA):  Joseph "Joe" Pitre Sr., September 23, 1928 - January 29, 2019:  Joseph “Joe” Pitre, Sr., 90, a native and resident of Galliano, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019.  Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Golden Meadow.  Religious services will be at 11:00 am Thursday with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.  He is survived by his wife, Doris Jane Pitre; sons, Joseph Pitre, Jr. (companion, Kathy), Jesse Pitre (Gwen), Lee Pitre; daughters, Christine LeBouef (Will), Paulette Cox (Richard); sister, Nevette Doucet; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Sidonia Pitre; daughters, Michelle and Rochelle Pitre; grandson, Isreal LeBouef; brothers, Tarro and James Pitre and sister, Hazel Hunter.  Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Obituary:  Falgout Funeral Home (LA), 17 November 2009:  Ms. Priscilla M. Blanchard Harmon, 78, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and a resident of Cut Off, La., died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009 at 2:05 a.m.  She is survived by her sons, Joseph Jr. and Jessie (Gwen) Pitre; daughters, Christine (Will) LeBouef and Paulette (Rich) Cox; sisters, Rose Guidry, Jeanette Lala, Kathy Cheramie and Robin Rouse; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Ulysses Harmon; parents, Moise Sr. and Antoinette Bergeron Blanchard; daughters, Michelle and Rachelle Pitre; brothers, Colins Sr., Moise Jr. and Leo Paul Blanchard; sisters, Ana Mae Lafont and Emily Crochet; and one grandson.  She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow.  Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow.  Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
