Obituary:  Pitre - At his late residence, 302 McConnell Street, Mr. Joseph Pitre.  Beloved husband of Agnes Boileau.  Age 78 years.  Dear father of Mrs. Henri Brunet (Irene) Glen Robertson, Mrs. Honorius Besner (Germaine) Cornwall, Mrs. Jos. Gusta (Cecile) Merrickville.  Dear brother of Eusebe, Gedeon, Cornwall, Martin, Beauharnois, Godfrey, Casselman, Mrs. Hector Dore (Hermeline), Ottawa.  Also survived by thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.  Resting at Boulerice Funeral Home, requiem mass, Saturday, June 24th, 1972, in Nativity Church at 11 a.m.  Interment parish cemetery.

Obituary:  Standard Freeholder (Cornwall, ONT), Tuesday, 22 July 1980:  Agnes Pitre - Funeral was held from the Boulerice Funeral Home on July 14 to St. Therese de Lisieux Church with Rev. Charles Claude officiating for Mrs. Agnes Pitre who died July 12 at Macdonnell Memorial Hospital.  She was 81.  Born in Lemieux, Ont., the daughter of the late Hormidas Boileau and the late Eugenie Lauzon, she was predeceased by her husband Joseph Pitre.  She is survived by daughters: Mrs. Henri (Irene) Brunet of Glen Robertson; Mrs. Hormidas (Germaine) Besner of Cornwall and Mrs. Joseph James (Cecile) Gusta of Merrickville.  She is also survived by six brothers: Omer, Regis, Baptiste and Albert of Cornwall, Andre of St. Jean D'Iberville, Quebec and Joseph of Curran.  Also surviving is a sister Mrs. David (Florida) Mondoux of Cornwall.  She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.  Interment was at Nativity Cemetery.

Marie Germaine Pitre:  Mrs. Germaine Besner in Kemptville, Ontario on Tuesday, January 31, 1995.  The former Germaine Pitre, age 73 years; formerly of 22 Clothier Street, Kemptville.  Wife of Honorius Besner.  Dear mother of Robert of Kemptville, Claude of Toronto, Richard, Daniel and Bernard Besner all of Cornwall, Mrs. Annette Duperron of Montreal and (Micheline) Mrs. Bill Piper of Brantford, Ontario.  Dear sister of Mrs. Cecile Gusta of Merrickville, Ontario.  Also survived by thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  Daughter of the late Joseph Pitre and the late Agnes Boileau.  Predeceased by one son, Yvon Besner, one sister, Mrs. Irene Brunet.  By pre-request there will be no visitation.  The funeral services will be held in the Memorial Chapel of the Boulerice Funeral Home Ltd. on Thursday, February 2, 1995 at 10:00 a.m., followed by cremation.  As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
