Obituary:  North Bay Nugget (North Bay, ONT), Friday, 28 May 1993:  Pitre, Annette (nee Seguin) - The family announces with sorrow her death, May 27, 1993, at Sturgeon Falls, at the age of 78 years.  Beloved wife of Oscar Pitre of Sturgeon Falls.  Loving mother of Alice (Mrs. Pierre Brais) of Chelmsford, Rita (Mrs. Ron McKinnon) of Chatham, Maurice (wife Ghislaine) of Richmond Hill, Raymond (wife Noella) and Andre (wife Cathy), both of Noelville, Hugeutte (Mrs. Richard Goegan) of Stroud and Bernard (wife Sylvianne) of Sturgeon Falls.  Dear sister of Therese (Mrs. Fernand Gauthier), Mrs. Yvette Pilon, Armand (wife Germaine) and Doris (wife Lucille), all of Noelville, Rejeanne (Mrs. Rene Huot) of Alban, Fernand (wife Marcienne) and Ted, both of Sudbury.  Predeceased by one brother Roland and by two sisters Gilberte Pitre and Georgette Pitre.  Also survived by 19 grandchildren and by six great-grandchildren.  The family will receive friends at St. David Parish Hall, Noelville, today from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m.  Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. David Church, Noelville.  Arrangements in care of the Co-Operative Funeral Home, Sudbury.

Dear friend to Richard Pouget.  Rita taught French as a first language throughout Ontario for over 30 years, ending her career at Ecole St. Philippe, Grande Pointe in 1996.  She was an active member at St. Agnes Catholic Church where she sang in the choir.  As a member of the Active Lifestyle Centre she hosted many bus trips and she enjoyed participating in many activities at the centre.  The family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, Chatham on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m.  Vigil Prayers at 6:45 p.m.  A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Chatham on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Joseph Leon Gilles Maurice Pitre:  James Reid Funeral HomeMaurice Gilles Leon Joseph Pitre  Kingston, Ontario, July 15, 1943 - February 28, 2021:  Pitre; Maurice Gilees Léon Joseph - Passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the age of 77.  Cherished husband to Ghislaine (nee Nadeau) of 51 years.  Adored father to Denise Pitre (Scott McMahon).  Maurice was predeceased by his parents Oscar and Annette (nee Seguin), siblings Alice (Pierre) and Rita (late Ron) and parents-in-law Albert and Alma Nadeau.  He will be fondly missed by his surviving siblings Raymond (Noella), Huguette (Richard), Andre (Kathy) and Bernard (Sylvianne) and his siblings-in-law Hubert (Colette), Lise (Gaetan), Gisele (Frank) and Michel.  Maurice is survived by many other extended family and friends that will forever keep him in their hearts.  Cremation has been entrusted to James Reid Funeral Home, Kingston, Ontario.  Due to covid, there will be no service at this time.  The family will have a private burial at a later date when restrictions allow.  Memorial donations can be made in Maurice’s honour to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.

 

Joseph Roland Dorise Raymond Pitre:  Salon Funéraire Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home Inc:  Raymond Pitre  November 30th, 1946 – May 8th, 2022:  It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond “Ray” Pitre on May 8th, 2022 at the age of 75 after a battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis.  Beloved husband of Noella (Proulx) of which he shared 55 years of marriage.  Loving father of Sylvie (Jorge Amaral) of Collingwood and Guy (Sherri-Lynn Pharand) of Sudbury.  Cherished grandfather of Julie of British Columbia, Sylvain of Collingwood and Queline of Sudbury.  Ray was the son of Oscar and Annette (Seguin) both predeceased.  Survived by his sister Huguette (Richard Goegan) of Wasaga Beach, Andre (Kathy Mercer) of Noëlville and Bernard (Sylvianne Cardinal) of Lavigne.  Predeceased by his sisters Alice (Pierre Brais), Rita (Ron McKinnon predeceased) Maurice (Ghislaine Nadeau).  He will be truly missed by many nieces and nephews.  Ray enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and logging and towards the end took up bird watching.  He devoted many hours volunteering for the Knights of Columbus, Rod and Gun Club of Noelville/Sturgeon Falls.  He had a strong passion for horses, which he used for his second love of maple syrup farming and horse logging.  Friends and family will remember the many sleigh rides during Christmas and New Year’s.  Raymond worked in many various fields of employment such as construction, mining, logging, farming and Heavy Equipment.  E.B. Eddy Forests Products / Camp 12 will remember his focus on production and safety.  The family will receive relatives and friends at the St. David Church Hall in Noelville on Saturday, June 18th, 2022 from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. followed by a mass at the St. David’s Church at 1:00 p.m.  Funeral Arrangements in care of Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls.  Donations in memory of Raymond can be made by cheque or by visiting online the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
