Misc.: Le Pionnier (Sherbrooke, QUE), 21 April 1887: Westbury (Bassin) - The young Narcisse Lepitre, a 14-year-old child, son of Mr. Onesime Lepitre from our locality, having gone into the woods in the company of his brother, an 8-year-old child, to cut a piece of wood to repair a break in a cart, seriously cut his foot. The 8-year-old child ran to warn their parents who had to carry the poor crippled boy, who, without this circumstance, might have died in the woods due to blood loss. Although the wound is serious, it is hoped that the poor boy will recover if no other complications arise.
- The Daily Telegraph (Quebec City, QUE), 10 July 1896: The barn of Mr. Onesime Lepitre, of Westbury Basin, Eastern Townships, was recently destroyed by fire, together with a threshing mill, and a quantity of agricultural implements.
- The Gazette (Montreal), Saturday, 8 October 1887: An inhuman act - Onesime Lepitre, residing at Westbury, found a valuable colt of his the other morning with a pitchfork driven into its side. The perpetrator of the outrage has not been discovered.
- Le Messager (Lewiston, Androscoggin, ME), 9 April 1897: East Angus - Mr. Onezime Lepitre, from Bassin, it is said, is granting a water right on the St. Francois to an American named Wokney, who supposedly intends to set up an acetylene gas factory.

Marie Anne Lepitre: La Tribune (Sherbrooke, QUE), Tuesday, 21 December 1943: Goudreau - The funeral of Mrs. Edouard Goudreau, born Marie Anne Lepitre, aged 61 years and 10 months, and residing at 106 Rue Conseil, will take place on Wednesday, December 22, 1943. The funeral procession will leave the Gerard Monfette Funeral Home to go to St. John the Baptist Church where the service will be sung at 8:30 a.m. Burial at St. Michel Cemetery.
Joseph Malion Lepitre: Misc: La Justice (Biddeford, York, ME), 14 Aug 1902: Westbury Basin - Last Friday, a painful accident happened to Mr. Onesime Lepitre's son, Moleon, aged 17 years. The young boy had gone to East Angus on business and was at Mr. Philippe Boisvert's shop, a carpenter. He was standing near a moving circular saw. As one of the workers called his attention, he went to put his hand on the saw, getting the thumb of his right hand cut. Two doctors performed the amputation at the first joint of the thumb. Healing has begun to take place well.
