Pierre Jarry, notaire a St-Jerome, comte et district de Terrebonne, province de Quebec, Canada.  Comparait - Dame Marie Rose Brunet, menagere, domiciliee au No. 410 de la rue St-Georges, St-Jerome, veuve en premieres noces et non remariee de Monsieur Modeste Pitre dit Lajambe.  Laquelle declare que son epoux Monsieur Modeste Pitre dit Lajambe en son vivant cuisinier domicilie au No. 410 de la rue St-Georges, St-Jerome, y est decede le 13 Mars 1955, a l'age de 75 ans.  Que le defunt etait marie sous le regime de la communaute legale de biens avec la comparante pour s'etre marie dans la Province de Quebec y etant domicilie, sans avoir passe de contrat de mariage.  Que par son testament authentique passe devant Me Jules Jarry, le 26 Juin 1945, le defunt a institue la competante Dame Marie-Rose Brunet sa legataire univercelle et son executrice testamentaire.  Que permi les biens composant sa succession, se trouve l'immeuble suivant, savoir:- Description - Une terre situes su Lac Saguay dans le comte de Labelle, connue et designee sous le numero Deux (No. 2) dans le quatrieme rang du Canton Boyer, comte de Labelle.  Que ledit Modeste Pitre dit Lajambe a acquis ledit lot de la Couronne de la Province de Quebec, le 30 Mai 1922, par lettres patentes qui lui ont ete ondoye.  Que ledit Modeste Pitre a acquis ledit lot sous le nom de Modeste Lajambe mais que c'est par erreur que ladite Lettre patente devait se lire Modeste Pitre dit Lajambe et la comparante fait cette declaration en vertu des articles 2098 et suivants du Code Civil de la Province de Quebec dans le but d'operer la transmission dudit immeuble su nom de Dame Marie-Rose Brunet et de permettre l'enregistrement dudit testament et cu certificat du percepteur du revenu.  Dont Acte a St-Jerome, sous le numero Deux Mille Six Cent Cinquante et Un des actes du notaire soussigne.  Et lecture faite, la comparante a signe avec soi notaire.  SIGNE:  Marie Rose Brunet Pitre.  SIGNE: Pierre Jerry, notaire.  Vraie Copie de l'original demeure en mon etude

- Rough translation:  Settlement of the Will/Testament of Modeste Pitre to his wife Rose Brunet.  On 21 June 1957, before Mr. Pierre Jarry (notary in St. Jerome, Terrebonne, Quebec), appeared Dame Marie Rose Brunet, housewife, residing at 410 Rue St. Georges in St. Jerome, widow (1st & only marriage) and not remarried, of Mr. Modeste Pitre dit Lajambe.  She declares that he was a cook and died at their house on 13 March 1955, age 75.  That they were married under community property laws, but without entering into a marriage contract.  That in her husband's will, made before Mr. Jules Jarry on 26 June 1945, she was made his sole testamentary executor.   The property composing his estate is the following building, namely land located on Lake Saguay (in Labelle), designated as No. 2 in the 4th rank of the Township Boyer, County of Labelle.  That her husband acquired the lot from the Crown of the Province of Quebec on 30 May 1922 under the name Modeste Lajambe.  This should have read Modeste Pitre dit Lajambe. Correction should be made so that the land can be transferred to Dame Marie-Rose Brunet, and to allow the registration of the said will and certificate of the revenue collector.  This was signed and notarized.

Joseph Dieu Pitre:  Pitre, Dieudonne.  At Ste. Agathe, 27 October 1995, at the age of 78 years, died Mr. Dieudonne Pitre.  Survived by his sisters: Rose, Lucienne (Roger Pilon), Rollande, Ida (late Rolland Riel), Violette, Rita (Lord Pinsonneault) and Therese, plus several nephews and nieces.  There will be no viewing.  A service will be celebrated this afternoon, at 2:30 p.m. at Ste. Paule Church and at St. Jerome cemetery.  Funeral direction Desrosiers & Fils, St. Jerome.

 

Marie Clara Lucienne Pitre:  Pilon (Pitre), Lucienne.  At Montreal, 10 January 2001, at the age of 82 years, passed away Madame Lucienne Pitre, wife of Roger Pilon.  Besides her husband, she is survived by her children: Francine (Claude Guillemette), Real (Linda Young), Guy (Jean Hong), Ramond (Michelle St. Amour), Madeleine (Yves Provost), Robert (Martine Cloutier), Chantal (Gilles Lacasse), Christiane (Normand Blouin) and Paul (Debbie Jackson), twenty grandchildren, sisters, also many relatives and friends.  The family will receive condolences at:  Urgel Bourgie, Montreal.  The funeral will take place Saturday 13 January at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph de Bordeaux church and then to the cemetery Les Jardins Urgel Bourgie Laval.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend without further invitation.  Visiting hours: Friday 2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. and Saturday starting at 9:30.  Thank you to all the staff of the 3rd floor of the Sacre Coeur hospital for their attention and dedication.

 

Marie Amanda Rollande Pitre:  The Tampa Tribune (FL), Saturday, 2 December 1995:  Rollande A. Poirier, 72, of Sebring died Friday at home.  A native of Quebec, she moved to this area in 1992 from Roseville, Mich.  She was a homemaker and member of St. Catherine Catholic Church.  She is survived by a son, John Pitre of Carmel, N.Y.; two daughters, Susanne Zyla of Sebring and Mary Linda Rogers of Carmel; five sisters, Theresa Pittre, Lucienne Pilon, Ida Riel, Violet Martin and Rita Passenaunte, all of Quebec; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.  Morris Funeral Chapel, Sebring.

Marie Ida Pitre:  In Riviere-Rouge, on July 18, 2022, passed away at the age of 98, Mrs. Ida Pitre, wife of the late M Rolland Riel.  She is survived by her children Andree (Bernard Rioux), Pierre (Francine Picard), Romain (Linda Lebeau), Jacques (Linda Bisson), Serge, her grandchildren Jessica, Marie-Eve, Virginie, Jimmy, her great-grandchildren Megan, Anthony, as well as her nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.  The family will receive condolences on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday, July 22, 2022 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Residence Funeraire Desrosiers & fils Inc., St-Jerome, Qc.  The funeral will take place on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at the parish church of St-Pierre, St-Jerome, Qc.  Interment will follow at St-Jerome Cemetery.
 

Marie Viola Rita Pitre:  Pitre, Viola.  At. St. Jerome, 21 October 1996, passed away at the age of 71 years, Viola 'Violette' Pitre.  She leaves her sisters, Rose (late Jean Paiement), Lucienne (Roger Pilon), Ida (late Roland Riel), Rita (Lord Pinsonneault) and Therese, as well as nephews and nieces.  The funeral will take place on Tuesday 22 October at 1 p.m. in the St. Jerome cathedral.  Relatives and friends are asked to go directly to the church for the celebration.  Direction: Maison Funeraire Trudel, Inc., St. Jerome.

 

Marie Rita Petronille Pitre:  Pinsonneault (nee Pitre), Rita, 1930-2013.  At Montreal, 25 September 2013, passed away at the age of 83 years, Madame Rita Pitre, wife of Mr. Lord Pinsonneault.  Besides her husband, she is survived by her children Nicole and Pierre (Linda Dontigny), her sister Ida, nephews and nieces, also many relatives and friends.  The family will receive condolences this Sunday 29 September 2013 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m., also Monday, day of the funeral, starting at 9 a.m. at the salon of Maison Trudel Inc., St. Jerome.  The funeral will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in the cathedral of St. Jerome.

 

Marie Claire Therese Pitre:  Montreal Journal (QUE), 2 April 2008:  Pitre, Therese, 1934-2008. At Montreal, 24 March 2008, at the age of 73 years, passed away Madame Therese Pitre.  She is survived by her sisters Ida and Rita (Lord Pinsonneault), nephews, nieces.  Burial will be at a future date.  Desrosiers & Sons, St. Jerome.
