Obituary:  Times Picayune (LA), 9 August 1946 - At the residence, 1836 Bayou Road, New Orleans, on Wednesday, August 7, 1946, at 11:05 o'clock a.m., Leonce J. Pitre, beloved husband of the late Augustine Pitre and father of Mrs. Felix Pitre, Mrs. Sheldon Pierce and Orleans Pitre, survived by 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild, age 80 years.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral, which will take place from the residence of Mrs. Felix Pitre, Cut Off, La., on Friday, August 9, 1946, at 8 o'clock a.m.  Religious services at Sacred Heart Catholic church, Cut Off, La.  Interment in Sacred Heart Catholic cemetery.  Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, La., in charge.
