Misc.:  The Windsor Star (ONT), Wednesday, 17 February 1915:  A large crowd of young men from Tecumseh were present to give a parting cheer for Alphonse J. Morand and Alphonse Pitre, two prominent Sandwich East young men.  At a farewell party held on Tuesday evening in Tecumseh each was presented with a military wrist watch and a safety razor.  The party was under the auspices of the C.C. Club.

 

Misc.:  The Windsor Star (ONT), Tuesday, 20 April 1926:  Mrs. Alphonse Pitre, Tecumseh, pleaded guilty to illegal purchase of liquor, before Magistrate W. A. Smith in county police court at Sandwich this morning and was fined $100 and costs.

 

Obituary:  The Windsor Star (Windsor, ONT), Saturday, 2 August 1969:  Alphonse Pitre, 78 years, August 1, 1969.  Late of 12110 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh.  Former proprietor Golden Hotel.  Beloved husband of Delia (Trepanier).  Brother of Raymond, Tecumseh, Mrs. Hector Lanoue (Lottie), Stoney Pointe.  Resting at the Marcotte Funeral Home, Tecumseh.  Funeral Monday 9 a.m. to St. Anne's Church at 9:30.  Interment St. Anne's Cemetery.  Prayers evenings 8 p.m.

Obituary:  The Windsor Star (Windsor, ONT), Monday, 3 November 1986:  Delia Marie Pitre (nee Trepanier), 92 years, Nov. 1, 1986 late of Tecumseh.  Wife of the late Alphonse Pitre.  Sister of the late Edward, Homer, Arthur, Fred, Nestor Trepanier and Marie Bacon and Desneiges Lalonde.  Mrs. Pitre with her late husband owned and operated The Golden House in Tecumseh.  Her funeral was held Monday from the Marcotte Funeral Home Tecumseh and Ste. Anne Church.  Interment was in Ste. Anne Cemetery.
