Albertine Pitre:  Elhatton's Funeral Home:  It is with great sadness, that we the family, announce the passing of Mrs. Albertine Doucet, (nee Beaudry-Pitre), which occurred on Thursday December 9, 2021, at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, at the age of 83 years and nine months.  Our dear mother was the daughter of the late Adele Pitre and late Henri Pitre, and her husband, late Normand Doucet.  Our mother of ten children, had a heart devoted to her kids right to her last breath of life.  Even with the hardship of raising a large family, she did it with love and patience.  True to God and the Church, our mother instilled her values in all her children.  She is survived by her six living children: Daughter, Adele (Samuel Chiasson) from Bathurst, her son, Joshua Gray of Moncton; Son Wilfred (Carolyne Boulay) and her children: Veronique and Rene, all of Beresford; Son Jean Joseph (Derek Sun) of Vancouver; daughter, Rose-Marie Doucet-Wilson of Moncton; daughter, Yvette (Dave Murray) of Moncton, and her children: Melissa Hayden and Christopher Murray; Son Joseph Henri of Vancouver.  Besides her husband, she was pre-deceased by four children: Patrice “Patrick” (1980), Michel (2009), Victor (2013) and Anita (2016); and her brother Patrick Pitre in April 2006.  Also survived by grandchildren: Joshua Gray, Chelsa Doucette, Tania Savoie, Melissa Hayden, Christopher Murray all of Moncton and Caleb Sean Morcinek of Waterloo, ON and many great-grandchildren and one niece Linda Pitre.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Elhatton Funeral Home, Bathurst, on Tuesday December 21st from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated that same afternoon at 4 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Bathurst, with Father Wesley Wade officiating.  The family would like to send a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Dr. George L. Dumont for the care given to her during the difficult times of Covid-19.  Also to Louise Boissonnault (Intervenante), for her spiritual and emotional guide from "Reseau de Sante Vitalite", Moncton.  Louise’s re-assurance, love and prayers in her last moments was of great comfort.  Trusting in Jesus and Mother Marie, to welcome our mother and know we will be with her in paradise someday.  We would like to thank from the bottom of our hearts, the friendship and prayers from Monseigneur Gerard LaPlante, Bishop of the "St-Raphael Old Catholic Church" of Vancouver, a long-time family friend of the Doucet family.  Monseigneur LaPlante was pillar of support for the Doucet family when her son, Patrice died in 1980.  Since then, Mgr LaPlante was a great friend of the Doucet family, which continues today.  Thank you, Mgr LaPlante and the clergy of "St-Raphael Old Catholic Church" for the special mass for our mother before her death and also on December 12, 2021.  From all the Doucet family (daughters, sons, niece, grandchildren, great-grandchildren).  If desired, donations in memory of Albertine may be made to the local foodbank.
