Obituary:  The Ottawa Citizen (Ottawa, ONT), Sunday, 23 June 1991:  Pitre, Gedeon of Ottawa oassed away in Ottawa on Friday, June 21, 1991, at the age of 90.  Dear husband of the late Emelia Carriere.  He is survived by his son Noel of Ottawa.  He will be resting at the Lafleur & Robert Funeral Home in Casselman.  Funeral service will be held in Casselman on Monday, June 24th, at 10:30.  Interment Ste-Euphemie Cemetery in Casselman.  Visitation, Saturday from 7 to 10, Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10, Monday from 9 a.m. till time of funeral.

Obituary:  The Ottawa Citizen (Ottawa), Thursday, 26 March 1981: Mrs. Emilia Pitre - On March 25, 1981, in an Ottawa hospital, at the age of 82.  Beloved daughter of the late Mr. Charles Carriere and the late Matilde Giroux.  Beloved mother of Mr. Noel Pitre of Ottawa.  Survived by 5 sisters, Marie Gravelle of Gatineau; Mrs. Aime Rose (Cecile) of Cornwall; Mrs. Alex Gagne (Julie) of Cornwall; Mrs. Delores Beaupre of Cornwall; Mrs. Harold Summers (Helene) of Cornwall.  Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lafleur and Robert Funeral Home, 53 St. Euphemie St., Casselman, where she will be resting Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m., Friday from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.  Eucharistic Celebration Saturday, March 28 at 10:30 in Casselman.  Spring interment to be held in Lermieux.

Noel Joseph Pitre:  The Ottawa Citizen (Ottawa, ONT), Thursday, 9 December 2004:  Pitre, Noel Joseph, Peacefully at the General Hospital on Tuesday, December 7th, 2004 at the age of 75 years.  Beloved husband of Annette Baker, loved father of Madeleine, Norman, Gerry (Micheline), Linda (Mike) and David.  Fondly remembered by many grandchildren and other extended family members.  Friends may pay their respects at the Lafleur & Robert Funeral Home, Casselman on Thursday, December 9th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Friday, December 10th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 beginning at 9:00 on Saturday.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 11th at the Ste. Euphemie church in Casselman at 11:00 a.m.  For those, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.  The family wish to thank the Doctors and nursing staff of the General Hospital for their excellent care.
