Obituary:  Morning Sentinel (Waterville, ME), Wednesday, 24 May 1978:  Torrington, Conn. - Gregory J. Peters Sr., 64, died early Tuesday morning at a local hospital after a long illness.  He was born Jan. 6, 1914, in Fairfield, Me., the son of Gilbert and Mary (Taylor) Peters.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had been employed by Uniroyal Corp.  Surviving are two sons, Gregory Peters Jr., of Torrington, and Dennis Peters of Waterbury, Conn.; a daughter, Nanette Peters of Waterbury; two brothers, Lawrence of Waterville, Me., and Vincent of Fairfield, Me.; a sister, Marguerite Emery, several nieces and nephews.  Committal services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Chapel of the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta, Me.

Obituary:  Naugatuck Daily News (CT), Tuesday, 13 April 1976:  Waterbury - Mrs. Betty J. (Paulhamus) Peters, 55, of 1426 Highland Ave., wife of Gregory Peters Sr., died Sunday evening at Waterbury Hospital after a brief illness.  Mrs. Peters was born in Williamsport, Pa., Nov. 18, 1920, daughter of the late Holden and Alfaretta (Reighard) Paulhamus and lived here the last 20 years.  Prior to that she lived in Naugatuck for nine years.  She was a chemical analyst for Uniroyal Chemical Co., Naugatuck.  Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Gregory Peters Jr. of Torrington, and Dennis Peters of Waterbury; a daughter, Miss Nanette Peters of Waterbury; and two brothers, Joseph Paulhamus of Apple Valley, Calif., and Robert I. Paulhamus of Mentoursville, Pa.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.  There are no calling hours.  Friends are asked to contribute to the American Cancer Society.  The Stokes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
