Obituary: Heritage Funeral Home (Bathurst, NB), Azilda Pitre. 1919 – 2014: At the Villa Sormany in Robertville, on Friday, May 2, 2014, at the age of 94, passed away Mrs. Azilda Pitre, wife of the late Florent Pitre, residing in Robertville. Born in Robertville, she was the daughter of the late Clement Godin and the late Marie Frenette. She is survived by three sons: Raoul and Albert Pitre both of Montreal, Qc., Levis Pitre (Louise) of Robertville. Eight daughters: Odila Theroux (Gilles) of Les Cedres, Qc, Denise Richard of Iles de la Madeleine, Geralda Antonides (Guy) of Naperville, E.U. Rosella Lambert (Raymond) of St-Lazare, Qc, Jeannine Hache (Stanley) of Robertville, Sylvia France of Niagara on the Lake, Ont., Jeannine Hache (Stanley), Florence Frenette (Jocelyn) and Marie Ange Vienneau (Herman) all of Robertville; 29 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Azilda was the last living member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by five sons: Emile, Reginald, Yvon, Jules, Joseph and three grandchildren. Visitation will be celebrated from Heritage Funeral Home, Beresford, on Tuesday, May 6th, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 7 p.m. from Sainte-Therese-d'Avila Roman Catholic Church, Robertville. In memory of Azilda, a contribution to Villa Sormany would be appreciated by the family.

Levis Pitre: Suddenly on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at his summer trailer in Petit-Rocher, at the age of 63, passed away Levis Pitre, husband of Louise (Guilbeault) Pitre, of Dieppe but formerly of Robertville. Born in Robertville, he was the son of the late Florent Pitre and the late Azilda Godin. Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters: Christine Michaud (Jean-François) of Cocagne, Valerie Pitre and Stephanie Pitre both of Dieppe. Two brothers: Raoul Pitre of Montreal, Qc and Albert Pitre (Solange Macia) of Sainte-Catherine, Qc. Eight sisters: Odile Theroux (Gilles) of Les Cedres, Qc, Denise Richard of Havre Aux Maisons, Qc, Geralda Antonides (Guy) of Holly Springs, USA, Rosella Lambert (Raymond) of St-Lazare, Qc, Jeannine Hache (Stanley) of Sormany, Sylvia France of Niagara Falls, Ont., Florence Frenette (Jocelyn) of Sormany and Marie Ange Vienneau ( Herman) of Robertville. Several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he went to join his brothers in eternal rest: Emile, Reginald, Yvon, Jules and Joseph. The family will receive relatives and friends from 2 p.m. on Monday, July 29, 2019 at the Heritage Funeral Home in Beresford, from where the funeral procession will leave for the funeral at 4 p.m. in the Sainte-Therese-d'Avila Church in Robertville.
