Obituary:  Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), 18 April 1960 - At the Marine Hospital, New Orleans, La., on Sunday, April 17, 1960, at 12:25 o'clock p.m., Felix J. Pitre, beloved husband of the late Angela Williams; father of Elmo and Linton Pitre, brother of Victor Pitre Jr.; survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; age 65 years; a native and a resident of Golden Meadow, La.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral which will take place from the Falgout Funeral Homes, Inc., Galiano, La., on Tuesday, April 19, 1960, at 9 o'clock a.m.  Services at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic church, Golden Meadow, La.  Interment in Cheramie cemetery, Galiano, La.  Falgout Funeral Homes, Inc., Galiano, La., in charge.

Linton Bruno Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA):  Linton B. Pitre, 84, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, died at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 6, 2002.  Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. Sunday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Monday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano.  There will be a Masonic Rose Cross service at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, with burial at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.  He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Terrebonne; son-in-law, Raleigh Terrebonne; three grandchildren, one step-granddaughter and seven great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Nola G. Pitre; parents, Felix and Angela Williams Pitre; and brother, Elmo Pitre Sr.

Elmo Joseph Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA):  A religious service was held at 10 a.m. today at Golden Meadow United Methodist Church for Elmo J. Pitre, 77, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Larose, who died at 2:11 a.m. Jan. 9, 1999.  Burial was at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.  He was the husband of Emma Collins Pitre; father of Elmo Pitre Jr. and Dale P. Angelette; and brother of Linton B. Pitre.  He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Angela Williams Pitre, and one granddaughter, Margaret Angelette.  He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II.  He was a member of Lafourche Lodge #427 F & AM, Bayou Fellowship Lodge #484 F & AM, New Orleans Scottish Rite Consistory, Lafourche Shrine Club of Jerusalem Temple, Order of Eastern Star #251 and the American Legion.  Samart Funeral Home of Cut Off was in charge of arrangements.
